15 Best Luxury Cars in The World

There are so many things in the world which cost a lot of money. Money dictates terms on so many levels. It works hand in hand with power to dictate multiple agendas in the world. A person with huge capital wishes to use his money to the best of his capabilities and make smart decisions in order to make intelligent purchases. It is impossible that when rich people are looking for places to put their money and automobiles do not come up. A person with money in his bank account, and I mean serious cash, will always invest in a good reliable automobile. He might not wear the best clothes, not live in the best house, not have the best amenities but he will drive the best car that he can buy or in this case, ride comfortably in the back seat.

This list does not include prototypes or custom-made tunings on a car, since you can do a lot with an automobile to change the face of it. But, a production car, which was made for the rule-makers will be on this list. These cars are currently in production and do not include classic masterpieces since their worth cannot be defined on paper. It is a list of serious cars made by serious automakers, who wish for the best service they can provide for their customer.

Bugatti Chiron ($3 million)

The only thing more searched than Bugatti Chiron, is its price and top speed. It is the epitome of luxury supercars. Bugatti has been making fast supercars since forever, but the Chiron is an absolute blissful combination of modern standard of speed and the warmth of opulent heritage. The Chiron has a price tag of $3 million making it the fastest and most expensive production car in the world. The 1500 hp, 2 tonne luxurious hotel room on wheels can make miles feel like centimetres. The W16 engine made by Volkswagen in the Chiron was an updated, advanced version of the one in the Veyron, producing 400 more hp and 300 more newton metres of torque. It is the perfect nomination for the best car in the world.

Rolls Royce Phantom ($450,000)

Rolls Royce has been making luxury automobiles for almost a century. The British car company’s most prized possession, and most expensive production car is the Phantom. With numerous customizations available for the customers in the Bespoke version of this car, it is supremely popular among the upper class. This car produces 560 hp due to a 6.8 litre V12 engine. A Phantom is as iconic as it gets. Rolls Royce has loaded the Phantom with never seen before features. The Spirit of Ecstasy carries the Rolls Royce name on this car with pride. Made of solid silver, it can be automatically summoned via the state of the art key with the car. It is probably the most luxurious car on the market.

Bentley Mulsanne ($310,000)

This list includes the Mulsanne as a sign of remembrance since it has been two days since this car has been out of production. 10 years into production, Mulsanne has been Bentley’s top model for a decade. It took the fine craftsmen and artisans at Crewe 400 hours man hours to make this car. The lavish limousine styled vehicle was Bentley’s answer to the Phantom. It has 537 hp and is loaded with the finest leather and wood one can find. It is less of a car and more of a luxurious apartment which can move. From wi-fi, to memory seat and top notch interiors which take 150 hours to make, Bentley guarantees that this lap of luxury would not disappoint you.

McLaren 720 s ($300,000)

The whopping 710 hp generated from the 4 litre V8 in the 720s makes it go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. This makes it a fair contender with the Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 488. Being a part of the big boy supercar club, the 720 s does justice to its McLaren badge, making it a one of a kind supercar. It is a perfectly stable car both on the road and the track, making it highly reliable and a complete overall supercar. The car is pricey but is worth every penny.  It is impeccable how McLaren was able to follow up the P1 which was so unstable and dangerous with such a taut supercar which does wonders.

Lamborghini Huracan Evo ($260,000)

This list would be incomplete without a few Lamborghinis. The Italian car maker has made its mark in the supercar line of cars. The Huracan Evo 2020 is a huge improvement from its predecessor. It is the most powerful V10 Lamborghini ever. The mean beasty carbon fibre on the body and insane amount of technological development to keep this car on the ground has made the Huracan Evo, a state of the art supercar. The Evo is fitted with a LDVI, which is the brain of this car which coordinates the complex and comprehensive system inside the Lamborghini. It accustoms itself to the driver style and the outside environment, providing the driver with the best driving experience possible.

Ferrari F8 Tributo ($280,000)

The successor to the fabled 458 and 488, the F8 Tributo is a special Ferrari which was made to stand alongside the legends. The twin turbocharged V8 produces 710 hp which gets it from 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds. As the name suggests, it is tribute to its predecessor and hence inherits the engine and design from the 488 Pista. It even has the ‘hole’ in the front part of the car to keep the prancing horse on the ground by providing downforce. The Tributo is a classic Ferrari and appeals to the money in the bank account of the rich.

Rolls Royce Dawn ($356,000)

This is only the second Rolls Royce on this list. This two door convertible is the dream of every millionaire. The car is the embodiment of perfection. The car offers a 4 seater cabin which simulates the passenger’s senses to the maximum. The car is filled with details which symbolize precision and quality. The roof plays a huge role in this car. You can go from a roller coaster which make your eyes twitch to complete tranquillity within a minute. It is a two door mini version of the Phantom and much more.

Mercedes AMG G 63 ($200,000)

Off-roading is justified by the G 63 and the track performance is justified by the AMG, the G wagon is a blend of luxury and pace. Whether it be scaling the steepest mountains or smashing the time at Nurburgring, you can take the G 63 to both Switzerland and Germany. A turbocharged V8 producing 577 hp is insane for a 2.5 tonne SUV filled with the best German technology. It is almost like travelling in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory lift which could take you in any direction only if it were covered with the finest leather and had a sunroof.

Mercedes-Maybach S 650 ($200,000)

A first class seat in the air costs about $50,000 per ticket. And this is probably for a 12 hour flight. What if you were offered a vehicle which provided you with the same comfort and opulence but forever since you essentially own it for $200,000. Plus, you get 2 seats and not one. The Maybach S 650 is fundamentally something like that offer. A limousine with 620 hp 6 litre V12 under the hood is more than a first class flight. It is an experience every time you get into the car. The recliner seats, fold up tables, champagne cabinet, entertainment devices, et cetera all contributes towards this experience and helps you to travel in the most comfortable way possible.

Bentley Continental GT ($200,000)

In 2007, the Bentley Continental GT went under a huge face lift. The grand touring car was a huge success as soon as it launched. The luxury sedan is a luxury yacht on wheels. The design of this car enables the viewers to identify this car from a mile. Iconic crystal cut headlights, streamlined sharp lines, long bonnet and beautiful metal work on the car makes it highly admirable. With a W12 engine, it produced 626 hp making it a beautifully balanced grand tour car.

Lamborghini Urus ($207,000)

One of the world’s fastest SUV, with a 4 litre V8, produced 621 hp and a top speed of 305 kmph, the Urus is almost unrealistic. The Urus is Lamborghini’s first SUV venture and it has smashed it out of the park. The Urus aims to be both fast on the track like a Lamborghini and off road, like a true SUV. Urus is a true Lamborghini, since it is fast and makes sure everyone knows.

Rolls Royce Cullinan ($330,000)

Another luxury brand dwelling into the unknown of SUV territory has resulted in the creation of the Cullinan. Named after the world’s biggest uncut diamond, the Cullinan is definitely a precious stone. The car portrays what a luxury SUV should be. It is true to the Rolls Royce badge it is wearing since you get all the staple Rolls Royce amenities, like a roll out picnic table instead of the extra seats, gold plated Spirit of Ecstasy and in-door umbrellas. With a surprisingly smaller engine, a 6.8L V12, the Cullinan produces 560 hp making it fairly quick. But it is a Rolls at the end of the day, and makes you feel like you are in one.

Bentley Bentayga ($160,000)

The cheapest but quickest out of the three, the Bentayga is also Bentley’s first SUV venture. The 2020 version has been made to be a hybrid version fitted with a V6 but the older petrol version had a V8 producing a 600 hp. The Bentayga Speed is a fastest SUV in the world with a 190 mph top speed, equal to the Urus. Like every other Bentley is fully handmade and takes 384 hours to make a Bentayga. The Bentayga is currently Bentley’s prized possession since it has been doing really well in sales and the money is flowing in for Bentley.

Audi R8 ($170,000)

The Audi R8 is Audi’s precious supercar. This vehicle has been hugely popular in recent times due to its sheer speed and beauty. The R8 has a V10 engine and produces 560 hp. Due to its light weight, the car zips around like a bee. It is purely made of fun and excitement. But in another world, it is also calm and composed for a smooth drive. One of the original supercar, the R8 has been around for more than a decade with about 9000 models been sold.

Porsche 911 Turbo S ($200,000)

The perfect track car brought to you by Porsche. The overwhelming use of technology and physics used on this car brings out the German factors. The 911 Turbo S is one of the fastest cars made by Porsche. 911 Turbo has had very impressive track time at the Nurburgring. The Porsche prodigy is whole new level in the supercar game. It generates 640 hp and does 0 to 60 mph 2.6 seconds. 2.6 seconds is less than the time it took me to write this sentence. It is an absolute monster.
