In an event that celebrated culinary artistry and innovation, The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore hosted an exclusive tasting session, "Taste of Triumph," curated by Chef Naresh Hari, Chef de Cuisine of the luxury hotel. Chef Hari, who will represent India at the prestigious Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024 in Manila, offered guests a preview of his award-winning dish.

His creation, Spaghetti Uovo with Smoked Prosciutto Mousse, Parmesan Chive Foam, and Crisp Green Leeks, is a modern take on the classic Carbonara, blending traditional Italian elements with his unique culinary vision.

Chef Hari’s Masterpiece: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

The dish that wowed attendees at the event was Chef Hari's acclaimed Spaghetti Uovo, a true masterpiece. Featuring delicate strands of pasta paired with a smoky prosciutto mousse, topped with Parmesan chive foam and crisp green leeks, the dish redefines Carbonara with an inventive twist. This culinary creation is a tribute to both Italian heritage and Chef Hari's deep-rooted Indian culinary background.

Culinary Excellence Recognized on a Global Stage

Chef Hari’s innovation and precision earned him accolades at the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024, held in St Regis Mumbai. A panel of esteemed judges, including Chef Andrea (Barilla Executive Chef Asia Pacific) and Luigi Cascone (Deputy Consul General of Italy in Mumbai), praised Chef Hari's dish for its balance of flavors and artistic presentation. His success at this prestigious competition now paves the way for him to compete in the Grand Finals in Manila, where he will showcase his culinary prowess against champions from seven other countries.

A Tribute to National Pasta Month at The Market

Chef Hari’s signature dish will also be available for guests to enjoy at The Market, one of the award-winning restaurants at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. As part of National Pasta Month celebrations in October, this delicacy will feature on a special menu, allowing guests to indulge in the same experience that earned Chef Hari national recognition.

Chef Hari is set to represent India at the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024 in Manila, competing against top chefs from across Asia. The top three winners will earn the prestigious titles and enjoy an experiential culinary tour of Parma, Italy, diving deeper into the heart of Italian gastronomy.
