A Reflection of Ultimate Sophistication - Roger Dubuis Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic Edition

Roger Dubuis has just debuted the Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic edition, which features the first white ceramic case from the luxury timepiece. The watch blends an EON GOLD TM design with the complex mechanisms of a unique double tourbillon.

Extremely horological - The Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic version is really expressive.

The clock is crafted with Roger Dubuis's first white ceramic casing and includes an EON GOLDTM design that delivers an unmistakably crisp and stylish contrast. Combined with the complex mechanisms of the double tourbillon, the Maison once again demonstrates its horological and technological dominance in the realm of Hyper HorologyTM.

Perfecting CERAMIC

Roger Dubuis's transformation of raw porcelain into the unique casing for which he is renowned is a really audacious feat. Refusing to compromise on the Maison's trademark form necessitates a rethink of the whole production process. Ceramic is four times more difficult to manipulate than stainless steel, and its finishing requires fifteen times more time than manufacturing the same case from gold. Only the most devoted and competent individuals dare to undertake such a work. Roger Dubuis' ceramic clocks are hyper-resistant to everyday scratches and do not tarnish with time. They also combine hyper-durability with hyper-expression.

THE Ultimate HOROLOGICAL Competence

The RD108 calibre's mechanical brilliance is a spectacular example of current style, as it has been recently upgraded with unique workmanship. The characteristic movement, which was created fully in-house, consists of two tourbillons joined by a centred differential to maximise precision while maximising energy transfer. With a titanium lower tourbillon cage, which is twice as light as stainless steel, the piece's weight is minimised for maximum impact. Non-magnetic material is also employed inside the tourbillon to better serve the user and enhance their experience, demonstrating that no detail has been overlooked. Such technological decisions enable the power reserve to be drastically reduced to 72 hours, allowing the watch to be left unworn over the weekend without the need to reset on Monday.

Moreover, the 45mm casing and movement's clean-cut lines create a strong aesthetic identity and offer the sense of a slimmer appearance and feel. By remastering the Roger Dubuis star, which has been moved to float freely above the barrel, more transparency and depth are achieved. This dynamic style is rewarded with the Poinçon de Genève, one of the most difficult signatures in fine watchmaking, which demands the hand-decoration of every component of the watch.

Remarkable CONTRASTS, Phenomenal DESIGN

The expressive and contemporary contours of the legendary Excalibur Double Tourbillon are accentuated by a variety of chosen aesthetic decisions. The bright white ceramic case is coupled with a rich EON GOLD TM bezel, crown, and caseback, opting for a look that is unquestionably unique and classy. A coated pink gold trademark star, hour markers, and indexes are affixed on a white Mineral Composite Fibre (MCF) flange, further enhancing the appearance. The embossed white calfskin strap is a great colour match for the elegant white case and has an unique Quick Release System for maximum adjustability.

SuperLumiNovaTM* is sprayed with exceptional precision to the tourbillon cages and trademark star to make them glow in the dark, adding a whimsical depth. Applied directly on slanted angles without needing to be enclosed in a frame, the method takes high artistry that only the most expert can achieve. The hour markers and hands are visible at night because they are coated with the same illuminating substance. With just eight pieces available, this remarkable work of art is only accessible to a select few.

The Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic edition represents the most recent development in Roger Dubuis' pursuit of hyperperformance, mastery of materials, and exceptional design. It demonstrates that the Maison has always provided the most thrilling way to experience Hyper HorologyTM.

Roger Dubuis is not the proprietor of the trademark SuperLumiNova.
