Anita Dongre Introduces Plant Based Luxury Vegan Accessories

Luxury Vegan Fashion

Luxury accessories often consist of leather handbags, belts, and footwear, a material that is as harsh to its source as it is to the environment and craftspeople. In addition to the brutality of utilising animal hides, the leather business is renowned for employing carcinogens that make employees ill and render neighbourhoods inhabitable due to hazardous waste dumps.

Anita Dongre's newest collection of plant-based vegan luxury handbags aims to buck the trend and provide accessories that are both elegant and humane.

This collection of plant-based vegan purses and belts use MIRUM®, a technology favoured by the major companies. This unique plant-based substance is one hundred percent natural, plastic-free, and cruelty-free.

It is also 100 percent recyclable and bio-neutral, leaving a lesser carbon imprint after its useful life, providing us a luxury line that is finally an eco-friendly, plastic-free alternative to leather and other materials. In addition, the line includes handmade purses created from recycled glass beads.

The profits from the sale of these high-end vegan accessories are given to animal welfare organisations.

The launch collection includes the Swan Mini Grab Bag, the Birds Of A Feather Crossbody Bag, the Nocturnal Glass Beaded Bag, the Champagne Gold Glass Beaded Bag, the Birds of a Feather Belt, and the Haathi Belt. These items were influenced by nature and Anita's affection for animals.

Anita Dongre mentions,

"The vegan accessories collection is a dream come true, with material sciences providing us with sumptuous and high-quality leather alternatives that are both cruelty-free and eco-friendly. This collection is designed for women who wear their principles on their sleeve, with items that are aware, ethical, and timelessly gorgeous. This line of accessories will give 5% of its profits to the India Animal Fund, which strives for a future in which animals are treated with the respect and compassion they deserve."
