Aston Martin launched a new partnership with the Japanese leader in premium real estate, VIBROA. The outcome of the cooperation will be the first "Designed by Aston Martin" luxury apartment in Asia.
The lifestyle partnership enhances Aston Martin's brand presence in Japan's most important growth market.
As part of a new arrangement, Aston Martin will construct the first Asian luxury property in Tokyo, Japan on November 28, 2022.
The collaboration between the ultra-luxury British performance brand and Japanese concierge leader VIBROA commences with the design and construction of No 001 Minami Aoyama, a stunning private residence in the highly desirable Omotesando district of Minami Aoyama, one of Tokyo's foremost architectural and style hubs.
Images of the property reveal that Aston Martin's architectural concepts are repeated throughout the mansion, which has an automotive gallery, wine cellar, home theatre, fitness centre, and private spa. In collaboration with a local architect, Aston Martin's renowned designers are responsible for the exterior and interior design, as well as the careful selection of furniture.
Aston Martin provides its design knowledge to Japan's premier luxury brand.
The four-story property, which has a roof terrace and stunning views of Tokyo, has already been sold to a private buyer, and its planned completion is November 2023. It is Aston Martin's first real estate design collaboration in Asia and follows successful projects in the United States, including the Sylvan Rock private residential estate and the exclusive Aston Martin Residences in Miami, which are now 97% sold out ahead of the luxury waterfront tower's scheduled summer 2023 opening.
Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, said, "The influence of Tokyo's culture, with its extraordinary history and flair, fills a substantial portion of our design studio's creative space. I see references to fashion, architecture, and even gastronomy being explored by our personnel as they construct their work, therefore permeating our whole practise.
Through our first ultra-luxury cooperation with VIBROA in Asia, we decided to return the favour by customising our Aston Martin real estate design ideas for the No. 001 Minami property.
Outside, we've built a bold architectural form with clean lines and unbroken boundaries so that the residents may engage with and appreciate this extraordinary setting. Inside, we've used a holistic combination of themes and materials to create a quiet and relaxing space for them to escape ".
Toshiyuki Yoshida, CEO of VIBROA, stated, "By offering our clients access to the world's finest products and services, VIBROA is committed to providing them with a valuable experience and additional value in the world of luxury real estate. We are thus pleased to be partnering with such an iconic ultra-luxury brand as Aston Martin, whose renowned design philosophy and expertise adds a unique dimension not just to this property, but also to the Japanese real estate market as a whole."
The new design partnership with VIBROA is part of Aston Martin's larger strategic growth goals in Japan, where the brand seeks to capitalise on the market's vast economic potential and expanding consumer demand.
Aston Martin's Regional President for Japan and South Korea, Greg Adams, stated:
"As Aston Martin continues to develop in Japan, we are dedicated to discovering innovative ways to bring our ultra-luxury brand to life and engage with local consumers. We are happy to be working with VIBROA to develop what we think to be the ultimate home for an Aston Martin owner, with design features inspired by our spectacular portfolio of ultra-luxury and high-performance vehicles."
