A dazzling audience attended the 38th annual Fashion Group International (FGI) Night of Stars gala and awards ceremony held tonight in Manhattan at Casa Cipriani on Cipriani South Street.
The event began with one of the most fashionable red carpets of the New York social season, and was followed by a cocktail party hosted by designer Frederick Anderson (recent recipient of the FGI Rising Star Award for Womenswear) and included music by The Misshapes.

Adut Akech, Jason Wu, Coco Rocha, Rebecca Moses, Stan Herman, Jessica Wang, Linda Fargo, Andrew Hilfiger, Daphne Velghe, Leckie Roberts, Carlos Campos, Miss America Emma Broyles, Alexander Hankin, Gary and Cole Wassner, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, The Dragon Sisters, and Lisa Simonsen were among the most notable attendees.
FGI, friends, and well-known speakers celebrated this year's "Artists and Icons" in a variety of categories encompassing the fashion, entertainment, and business industries, from style and retail to beauty, sustainability, and humanitarianism:
Supermodel and Iman Cosmetics' CEO IMAN awarded Michael Kors with the Superstar Award.
Actress Mariska Hargitay honoured designer Christian Siriano with the Fashion Star Award.
LoveShackFancy was awarded the Retail Award by author Candace Bushnell, who gave it to firm founder Rebecca Hessel Cohen.
Sir John, a renowned makeup artist, gave the Beauty Award to Sharon Chuter, the founder of UOMA Beauty.
Author Deepak Chopra awarded Firmenich with the Sustainability Award, which Firmenich President Global Perfumery Ilaria Resta received on behalf of the firm.
Prabal Gurung was awarded the Humanitarian Award by politician Huma Abedin.
The Trailblazer Award was awarded by actress Linda Marshall to Grammy-winning artist Dionne Warwick.
Andy Hilfiger, Creative Director of Andrew Charles, gave the Fashion Oracle Award posthumously to Elvis Presley, who was represented by Elvis Presley Enterprises/Graceland Managing Partner Joel Weinshanker.

Proceeds from FGI Night of Stars tickets will support the organization's mission to connect, support, and empower members across the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and retail industries worldwide, via a variety of educational and mentorship programmes, signature events, networking opportunities, business resources, and philanthropic partnerships.
