The bulletproof glass and startling door handles on this Aston Martin will deter assassins and carjackers. It will also make heads turn with its amazing beauty. Great combination, right?
Generally, armoured vehicles are large SUVs or luxury sedans, but AddArmor by Quality Coachworks is adopting a more inventive strategy with the armoured Aston Martin Vantage.
American company AddArmor based in Jackson, Wyoming, founded by veterans of special operations and law enforcement, is a top vehicle armoring firm that specialises in armoring all makes and models of automobiles, trucks, and SUVs, transforming them into state-of-the-art mobile safe rooms. The company's portfolio of high-performance armoured cars continues to grow, and currently includes an armoured Aston Martin Vantage.
The armoured Aston Martin Vantage uses the latest technological developments in lightweight bulletproof armoring. Due to its overall modest weight relative to ballistic steel, AddArmor's B4 level of armoring delivers exceptional protection without losing vehicle performance.
AddArmor's Kevlar armoring adds just 450 pounds to the base vehicle.
Transparent bulletproof glass is included in the windshield and door windows as part of the B4 armoring kit. The vehicle doors are then fortified with B4-level composite materials from AddArmor. After the armoring operation was completed, AddArmor by Quality Coachworks adjusted the suspension of the Vantage to compensate for the additional weight.
The exotic automobile was outfitted with a blast-resistant hardened steel top, a blast-resistant hardened steel shield covering the gasoline tank, and an armoured firewall constructed entirely of lightweight composite materials. Additionally, AddArmor integrated four special high-end run-flat inserts to facilitate the car's escape from any challenging circumstance.
Additionally, exhaust shields are placed to the Vantage's exhaust tips to prevent unwanted items from being introduced. Another significant feature to the vehicle is the AddArmor by Quality Coachworks electric shock door handles, which prohibit uninvited guests from accessing the luxury exotic's cabin.
AddArmor's Anti-Intrusion package, which starts at USD 32,500, may be fitted to any vehicle to provide enhanced protection. Anti-Intrusion products are meant to deter the use of large calibre firearms or blunt weapon window shattering.
