BMW Motorrad Introduces The Versatile Electric Scooter BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept

BMW Motorrad - BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept

BMW Motorrad Austria in Salzburg collaborated with Graz-based customization expert Vagabund Moto GmbH to develop the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept. This multipurpose e-scooter is based on the BMW CE 04 and is ideal for urban usage.

Each person defines the mobility of the future in their own manner.

With the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, we now offer our vision of a beautiful and versatile urban e-scooter that exemplifies how mobility demands are as unique as each individual. We have not reinvented the wheel, but we have rethought function.

"We call it drawing on the synergy between practicality and beauty in a manner that is suited for daily usage,"

explains Paul Brauchart, founder and CEO of Vagabund Moto GmbH.

This custom e-color scooter's palette consists of white, dark green, beige, and black. It is equipped with a variety of practical aspects, such as a welcoming happy face that not only gives a nice aesthetic accent on the front wheel hub, but also displays on the indicator lights' glass.

The e-scooter retains the impressive technical concept of the BMW CE 04 with key data including 31 kW (42 hp) maximum output, dynamic acceleration of 2.6 seconds from 0 to 50 km/h, a range of 130 km (according to WMTC), and a charging time of just 65 minutes from 0% to 80% – with an optional fast charger at maximum charging current.

In accordance with the tagline "Action meets Fashion," the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept was equipped with a functioning top case to augment the regular storage space, as well as a surfboard with an integrated transport system for a trip to the ocean or the neighbouring lake.

"The surfboard is a symbol for a sustainable urban livingand the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept demonstrates that there is no inherent conflict between work, relaxation, and unique style"

says Oliver Balzer.
