Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition - Bespoke Brilliance Inspired by The W16 Mistral Roadster

Exclusively for W16 Mistral owners, a limited-edition Bugatti Baby II inspired by carbon has been made. The Baby II Carbon Edition follows the appearance and interior details of the W16 Mistral, making it the perfect compliment to Bugatti's ultimate roadster.

It was developed in conjunction with The Little Car Company and is hand-built to each customer's preferences.

The Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition is a design and technical homage to the W16 Mistral, the final road-going Bugatti vehicle to employ the iconic W16 engine. It is based on an innovative carbon fibre architecture.

Every buyer has the option of customising their new Bugatti Baby II to their own W16 Mistral specifications, making it a true one-of-a-kind vehicle.

Advanced carbon technology and creative design

In addition to unique paintwork and aesthetic specs, the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition contains various carbon components. Visible carbon components adorn the radiator and grille, dashboard panel, interior panels, and mirror mount, while the custom black wood steering wheel has a carbon core.

A set of exquisitely painted black components lend nuanced depth to the Carbon Edition's aesthetic finish. To lighten the vehicle, the spare wheel, spare wheel bracket, and straps have been eliminated.

In homage of Bugatti's native nation, W16 Mistral1 owners may have the French flag hand-painted onto the side of their Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition.

The headlights of the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition are encased in a horizontal LED design that pays homage to the headlamps of the W16 Mistral. Each new Bugatti Baby II's interior is equipped with an etched panel with the chassis number and model name.
The 2019 debut of the limited-edition Bugatti Baby II (only 500 units) is a homage to Ettore Bugatti's first masterpiece, the 1926 Bugatti Baby. The car, a 75 percent scale replica of the Bugatti Type 35, was created to commemorate Bugatti's 110th anniversary and is crucial for preserving the brand's heritage.

The Baby II Carbon Edition follows a similar design approach and has interior aesthetic elements that are hallmark of Bugatti. Elements of the original Bugatti Type 35's instrumentation have been updated: the fuel pressure gauge is now the battery gauge. In homage to the Bugatti Veyron, the oil gauge has been replaced with a power gauge. And the miniature replica of the famed four-spoke steering wheel has a quick-release mechanism that facilitates access to the cockpit.

The adjustable pedals are machined from solid aluminium billet and proudly feature the renowned 'EB' emblem, while the gasoline pump handle has been faithfully replicated, but now functions as the forward, neutral, and backward selector.

Wiebke Stahl, Managing Director of Bugatti International, stated,

"The new Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition is inspired by our 'Form Follows Performance' philosophy; an ethos that has informed and ensured that all Bugatti automobiles, lifestyle products, and experiences meet the highest standards in terms of quality, luxury, design, and performance."

Ben Hedley, the chief executive officer of The Little Car Company, said,

"The Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition will be the ultimate collector's item for those fortunate W16 Mistral owners. We are thrilled that Bugatti chose to partner with us on this exquisite version."

The pricing of the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition is €80,000 including tax and delivery.
