Dipti Ranjan Patnaik is Now The Chairman of Atmosphere Hospitality

Mr. Dipti Ranjan Patnaik was recently designated chairman of Atmosphere Hospitality, a prospective newcomer to the Indian hospitality industry. Atmosphere Hospitality is an affiliate of Atmosphere Core that will introduce the renowned Atmosphere brands to India, including THE OZEN COLLECTION, COLOURS OF OBLU, and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts. In the Maldives, these three brands encompass eight thriving resorts.

Mr. Patnaik will introduce to India the three prestigious brands of Atmosphere Core, THE OZEN COLLECTION, COLOURS OF OBLU, and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, with two properties already in the works.

Regarding his new position, Mr. Dipti Ranjan Patnaik remarked,

Mr. Dipti Ranjan Patnaik is a well-known figure in India's mining industry and has a substantial presence in Odisha. He predominantly operates in the steel, iron ore mining, and power generation industries, and he has partnered with leading companies from around the globe. 

Mr. Patnaik, who was born into a prominent business and political family in Keonjhar, Odisha, has had a career spanning more than four decades, during which he has established and effectively managed a number of businesses. Mr. Patnaik, a man of his own making, attained success through diligent work and concentrated effort.  He received the prestigious Rastriya Samman Award and was nominated three times as a member of the Income Tax Advisory Committee.

Mr. Patnaik is committed to elevating the hospitality and tourism industries in India through his focused and innovative vision, in addition to his strong presence in the mining industry. Already, he has made significant contributions to the industry by establishing exceptional hotels and resorts in Bhubaneswar, Kalimpong, and Kolkata. And he envisions Atmosphere Core expanding to multiple locations in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Atmosphere Core and Atmosphere Hospitality will launch OZEN MANSION KOLKATA in India. In an enviable location in the New Town district of Kolkata, the grand hotel will resemble an imposing, regal mansion and feature event spaces that exude timeless elegance. And bringing the renowned Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts brand to India is a one-of-a-kind historical experience at Sadar Manzil Heritage By Atmosphere in Bhopal.
