By Rotation, a rental and resale app based in the United Kingdom, has acquired three million dollars in preliminary investment headed by venture capital company Redrice Ventures.
Eshita Kabra founded the website in October 2019 and it has already grown to over 200,000 lenders and renters throughout the UK.
By Rotation said in a news release that the app has
"become a supplementary source of income for many of its users, with some earning over 2,500 pounds per month by renting out their wardrobes."
The app's regular upgrades and additions, such as Lender Activity, seek to promote smart purchasing habits and let users to keep track of hot products and articles.
"By Rotation's P2P approach enables an obsessive dedication to servicing its community,"stated Redrice Ventures founder Tom March.
"The outcome is a very devoted family of renters and lenders with the greatest degree of user-led quality control,"March stated.
Above all, what actually unites this mission-driven group is a common desire for pleasure - there is a dearth of optimism in the world, and it is time for 'Rotators' to fill the void."
Redrice Ventures, which has previously invested in digital markets, has assembled a team of seasoned industry veterans, including Robert Senior, former CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, and Riccardo Pozzoli, an early stage board member of Depop.
