Extraordinary 1762 Gautier Cognac Fetches A Jaw Dropping 150000 USD

A bottle of Gautier Cognac, the most seasoned vintage at any point sold at sell off, was purchased in a web based offering for a whopping amount of almost 150000 US dollars.

The rare bottle was bought by a private collector in Asia and it happens to be the largest among the three bottles of Gautier Cognac dateing centuries back to 1762.

One of the other two bottles is housed in the Maison Gautier historical center in France, while another sold for almost EURO 50000 at a sale in New York in 2014.

This last bottle had been safeguarded, alongside the other two, in a basement since the finish of the nineteenth century. This would surely amount to a luxury collection investment for the buyer.

The Gautier Cognac was sold in a sale of other uncommon spirits, which shut Thursday and was sorted out by sales management firm Sotheby's. The online sale made a sum of £1.5 million from the assortment.

Jonny Fowle, Sotheby's Spirits pro, said the cognac should at present be drinkable and keeping in mind that it will have matured in the container, the degree of fluid inside proposes the seal has not been undermined and the dissipation is negligible.

This amazing liquor has been created in the French cooperative of Cognac.
