2023 Fashion Group International Rising Star Awards
New York (February 28, 2023):
More categories in fashion, beauty, and related fields have been added to the 2023 FGI Rising Star Awards list that has been announced by Fashion Group International (FGI), an organisation that promotes diversity in the fashion business and helps launch careers in the field.
Red carpet and luncheon tickets will be required for the 27th annual event, which will be held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers on May 8, 2023.
"Every year, we meet to celebrate some of the most promising emerging talents in the fashion, beauty, and business sectors at the FGI Rising Star Awards. FGI's goal has always been to support the industry and its members, both recognised names and newcomers. Honorees of the FGI Rising Star award have gone on to become industry heavyweights, so I'm excited to see where this year's nominees go."

In its twenty-seventh year, the annual awards ceremony is a key extension of FGI's continuous aim to connect and assist the global fashion diaspora with essential professional tools and contacts for long-term success.
In many instances, the tournament provides finalists their first brand exposure. Participants must not have been in business for more than six years in order to be nominated.
Jason Wu, Tory Burch, Joseph Altuzarra, Phillip Lim, Brandon Maxwell, Thom Brown, Bond No. 9, Warby Parker, Dylan Lauren of Dylan's Candy Bar, Jennifer Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman of Rent the Runway, to mention a few, are among the past recipients of the Rising Star Awards.
FGI will host a pre-awards party for the finalists on April 4 at the Sartoria Studio bespoke haberdashery in Soho, situated at 65-69 West Houston Street in New York.
