Feadship's New Yacht: Project 816 hits Amsterdam Waters

Feadship, the century old yacht manufacturer has been in the business of fashioning luxurious high-end boats for the richest of rich sine their establishment. The brand has not only encountered historical events but also has been a component of history itself, given its historic foundation. The COVID-19 pandemic situation has taken a toll on everybody but considering that the Feadship has conquered the hurdles in its past and still managed to be the best boat manufacturers, they crafted few note-worthy yachts in the pandemic year too. Among their long list of unique, excellently crafted with innovation and well-designed yachts, the latest release was on 19 December of the Project 816. The yacht is undergoing sea trials and would be ready for delivery in January 2021. However, Project 816 is not the official name of the yacht but Feadship cooperation has assured to reveal the name when it would be delivered. The best qualities of steel and aluminum are utilized to assemble the splendid aesthetics if the yacht.
The yacht, Project 816, has been witnessed with all its glory entering an Amsterdam based shipyard owned by the cooperation last year in May 2020. The interiors of the fleet have been designed by Nauta Design and FM Architettura, with its accommodating capacity being for 16 guests and 25 crew members. The four decked yacht with all its grandeur of 88 metre length is devised by De Voogt. Other than Project 816, Feadship has added four more exceptionally elegant and versatile vessels to its long list of perfection, in the previous year. Moonrise, Podium, Totally Nuts and Boardwalk are the other yachts launched by Feadship last year, ranging from 50-100 meters in length, Moonrise being the largest with 99.95 meters length. This Netherlands based elite cooperation is owned by Royal Van Lent and Koninklijke De Vries with Jan Bart Verkuyl being the CEO. The average cost for a Feadship yacht is estimated to be approximately €12 million. Feadship claims about their yachts “Every single inch is as close to human perfection as it can come. Nobody builds a house on land to these standards.” Their claims are proved true by their sensationally designed yachts with high-end quality and luxe touch to it, which are especially manufactured for the elite class.
