Global Top 10 Luxury Tea Brands 2021 by World Brand Lab Officially Launched

Drinking tea is one thing but sipping a Luxury Tea is definitely another!!

The World Brand Lab based in New York, US has revealed the Top 10 Luxury Tea Brands 2021 featuring 10 luxury tea brands across 8 countries.


Some brands that made it are Harney and Sons (US) and Mariage Freres (France) with TWG (Singapore), Twinings (UK) and Zhuyeqing (China) being at the forefront of the list, Zhuyeqing being the only Chinese luxury tea brand to make it.

The number of tea lovers across the world have exceeded a billion thereby increasing global tea production. Nearly 6.15 tonnes of tea is manufactured and supplied to across 5000 tea brands around the world.

In order to help consumers understand impartial tea quality better and provide simple measure to make a well-informed choice, the World Brand Lab developed and designed an effective evaluation model focusing on three main aspects- brand strength, enterprise development index and consumer value-index.


Based on these methods, they offer an exclusive analysis report that officially goes by the name of ‘Global Top 10 Luxury Tea Brands’.
This year some of the leading luxury tea brands come from US, UK, China, India, Singapore, France, Sri Lanka and Japan.
To attain conclusive precision, World Brand Lab conducted a screening across 5000 tea brands and selected 300 from them, ranging across 20 countries.

Then using Big Data Analytics, these 300 brands were analyzed based on which the final 10 luxury tea brands were selected.  


Michael Rice, a member of the World Brand Lab reveals how there are numerous benefits of drinking tea and the Chinese have been the closest to understanding these benefits on a holistic level. Some of these benefits include better digestive health, weight loss, controlled diabetes and improved memory.

The Chinese brand Zhuyeqing is more than just a mere luxury tea brand as it also represents China’s coarse history of tea culture since the past 4700 years.
