This palace from the 17th century is one of the most popular wedding destinations in India. Jagmandir Palace is constructed in the middle of the pristine Lake Pichola, whilst offering the most splendid royal backdrop. Guests are ferried to and fro in decorated lit up boats in the form of a procession across the lake.

It has luxurious dine-in restaurants, bars and cafeterias, wonderfully designed suites and a gorgeous view of the city. The palace also has a verbena-scented garden, which is used for outdoor wedding functions and rituals.

It is said that this is the place where Emperor Shahjahan derived his inspiration to build the Taj Mahal. Jagmandir Palace is widely popular amongst celebrities, businessmen and cater to clients all across the world because of its grand façade and royal beauty.

 

 

Lalitha Mahal, Mysore

Built in 1931, this timeless architectural masterpiece is built on the low lying beautiful hilly- landscape of Mysore and offers the most stunning view. It was built for the maharaja’s special guests and was eventually converted in to a commercial palace resort offering a wide range of services such as wedding functions, receptions, engagements, birthday parties and more.

It houses an Italianate Pallazzo, wonderfully designed rooms, The ‘coral’ front lawns, The Royal Ball Room and can accommodate from anywhere between 20 to 200 guests. The large banquet hall, pool side lawn and the royal terrace all make for the most regal wedding experience.

 

 

Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer

This beautiful palace located in the heart of Jaisalmer is instantly known for its grand appeal, especially in the evenings. It is said that when the palace is lit up with lights every evening, it glows like the beaming sun. What makes this palace even more special is that it offers a natural backdrop of the serene Thar Desert that adds to its rustic charm.

Apart from the gorgeous Rajputana architecture, Suryagarh Palace offers an extraordinary experience in terms of wedding functions with its caved pillars, beautiful Jharokas and intricate wall details. The palace has a Baradari-style pavilion, with a well-designed outoor lawn, a traditional step-wall that is perfect for outdoor ceremonies, a Lake Garden which creates a mirage of stars at night and multiple royal suites.

Samode Palace, Jaipur

It was built in the 16th century as a Rajput Fort bringing together the perfect combination of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The palace has also been used as a filming location for many local and international projects due to its grandeur.

The palace is built across three levels and offers the most gorgeous view of the Aravalli range. The main Durbar Hall and Sultan Mahal, which are most popularly used for wedding functions are said to be nearly 250 years old and is made of sandstone, with unique archways and artwork all throughout the walls.

It has a total of 43 rooms that are furnished luxuriously and has an open private terrace attached to it. The outdoor courtyard and garden areas are perfect to carry out traditional wedding rituals, with its old world charm and spectacular vibe.

 

 

Palace Grounds, Bengaluru

This European style Palace is popular for its medieval castle-like appearance and was built by the Wodeyar dynasty. It oozes royal charm and offers a rich luxurious appeal making it the perfect destination to host a wedding. 

It has been influenced by Tudor-style architecture which makes the interiors of this place look absolutely stunning, from its long wooden staircases to huge crystal chandeliers to unique artwork lined through its corridors, this place makes for the perfect historic wedding destination.
