Grosvenor has introduced a new unique initiative dubbed the Simplified Lease, a first in the industry that enables occupiers to arrange a lease and have access to their premises in a matter of days.
The Simplified Lease concept, which was developed in collaboration with occupiers in London's Mayfair and Belgravia, aims to remove difficulties that merchants often experience when opening new businesses.
The lease eliminates the need for both parties to engage in legal discussions, therefore shortening the process and lowering expenses. According to the company's press release, the plan will take just 72 hours to develop and will save around 90% on average expenditures.
15 occupants have already signed on to the new programme, including Vicki Sarge and My Wardrobe HQ.
"We are thrilled to introduce the Simplified Lease to our increasing range of occupier initiatives,"said Joanna Lea, Grosvenor's retail director.
"We have been working diligently to redefine the term 'landlord,' which entails adopting a proactive and collaborative approach to these relationships and streamlining or eliminating common bottlenecks."
"A significant component of this method is listening to occupiers,"Lea stated.
We were well aware of the hurdles they would have to leap over to get up and running. The Simplified Lease's pragmatic and service-oriented approach allows companies to establish a presence swiftly and cost-effectively."
