Hasselblad Releases The X2d 100c Lightweight Field Kit, Bringing A Fully World-Class Photography Experience For Demanding On-the-Go Shots

Hasselblad X2D 100C Lightweight Field Kit

Sweden-headquartered Hasselblad has introduced the X2D 100C Lightweight Field Kit, which consists of the current generation of mirrorless medium format cameras – the flagship X2D 100C – and two unique lenses: the XCD 4/21 and XCD 4/45P. Since it weighs just 1,810 grammes, the package is ideal for filming and reporting on location.

Both the XCD 4/21 and XCD 4/45P lenses are equipped with revolutionary optics that maximise the 100 megapixels of the X2D 100C and help the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) in keeping true-to-life colours. This pair of ultra-wide-angle lenses may be used for landscape, architectural, documentary, street, and still-life photography.

The X2D 100C is the flagship mirrorless medium format camera from Hasselblad. It is fashioned from a single block of aluminium alloy and has a 100-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 5-axis 7-stop in-body image stabilisation (IBIS), phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a 1TB SSD.

The XCD 4/21 is the widest lens ever developed by Hasselblad. It features a central shutter with a broad range of speeds and flash synchronisation up to 1/2000 of a second. This 600g lens has two aspherical elements and thirteen elements in nine groups to provide superb picture quality from the lens' centre to its periphery. A 77mm filter diameter is used to link XCD 4/21 to UV/CPL/ND filters.

The Hasselblad XCD 4/45P is the smallest and lightest member of the XCD series of lenses. Its optics and full-frame equivalent focal length of 36mm make it the ideal lens for travel, exploration, and documentary photography. A fast, precisely built leaf shutter technology enables flash synchronisation at up to 1/2000th of a second for studio and documentary shooting. The minimum focus distance of the XCD 4/45P is 35cm (13.8in), and the maximum picture scale is 1:5.2.

The Hasselblad X2D 100C Lightweight Field Kit has an MSRP of EUR €13,199 / CNY ¥88,799 / JPY ¥1,627,340 including VAT and USD $12,759, excluding sales tax. It is now available to order immediately. See details of the new product at www.hasselblad.com
