Have You Checked Out The BOBA FETT Collector Set Featuring Kross Studio Tourbillon Watch & Exclusive Replica Ship from EFX Yet?

Immersive BOBA FETT™ Collector Set Features Kross Studio Tourbillon Watch and Exclusive Replica Ship from EFX, Inspired by the Legendary STAR WARS™ Bounty Hunter

Kross Studio and Lucasfilm Ltd. are releasing a limited edition of 10 Boba Fett collector sets to honour one of the most mysterious characters in the Star Wars galaxy. Each includes a numbered, manually wound central Tourbillon clock inspired by Boba Fett and a replica ship and watch display by EFX that portrays Boba Fett's renowned spaceship in exquisite detail.

The bounty hunter's legendary spacecraft is his home away from home, thus it is only right that EFX has created the replica ship to also act as a watch holder and container when the Kross Studio Boba Fett tourbillon is not being worn.

A Watch for the Galaxy's Most Reputable Bounty Hunter
The centre tourbillon, one of the crowning triumphs of haute watchmaking, is now irrevocably identified with Kross Studio. Here, the Swiss design studio and manufacturer display the mechanical intricacy inside a 45mm titanium grade 5 casing with a chocolate PVD coating. A small spacecraft seems to arrive in the middle of the tourbillon cage, which is fashioned as a landing platform.

Expert Craftsmanship and Extraordinary Detail Reflect His Well-Outfitted Starship
The tourbillons need substantial in-house CNC machining and assembly, with eight separate components required to construct a single little firespray spacecraft. Then, Kross Studio workers begin construction and finishing in an effort to replicate the weathered look of Boba Fett's spacecraft as it appears in BespinTM at Cloud City in the Star Wars film franchise. Each individual ship needed more than ninety hours of engraving and hand painting. The remarkable attention to minute detail demonstrates Kross Studio's skill as a prominent Swiss manufacturer.

Reading Time
For Kross Studio, a trip through time and space necessitated a more inventive interpretation of the hours and minutes, adopting a novel peripheral format and planetary gear system that revolves the tourbillon in a complete 360-degree round. Powered by a 12-factor gear ratio, the planetary minutes mechanism is able to advance the hours. The hour and minute display system is mounted on two very broad, high-precision ball bearings in order to maximise the efficiency of the movement. Again, Kross Studio draws design inspiration from Boba Fett's trademark equipment and characteristics, rendering the hour hand as Boba Fett's jetpack and the minute hand as its rocket.

Whereas the dial is a study in purity and symmetry, the core tourbillon movement is comprised of 220 unique components. Each of the ten limited edition timepieces was created and built in the Kross Studio atelier in Gland, Switzerland. These timepieces are amusing, intriguing, intricate, and interesting.

No apparent crown
Kross Studio extends the optical symmetry beyond the dial to the flawlessly balanced case owing to Kross Studio's revolutionary D-ring crown mechanism, which is discretely located on the case back as opposed to its typical position on the case side. The mainspring of the barrel is wound by raising the D-ring on the case back and rotating it like a key: a more intuitive and efficient user experience than a conventional crown. Pressing the "Time Set" push button at 3 o'clock while simultaneously rotating the case rear D-ring in either way is sufficient to set the time. The watch has a power reserve of five days at most.

Interchangeable shoulder straps
The case's quick-release strap buttons, which are inconspicuous from the front but readily accessible from the case's bottom, are yet another example of its ingenuity. This innovation keeps the watch's streamlined appearance while allowing for a rapid strap adjustment. The watch comes with three strap options: a green polyamide strap (embossed with the design of Boba Fett's chest armour), a chocolate-colored calf leather strap, and a black rubber strap. Each included strap has been strengthened with a black rubber insert in order to maximise durability and comfort.

A Partnership with EFX
Kross Studio collaborated with EFX to design 10 distinctive watch displays for the Boba Fett collector set. The firm is well recognised as an extraordinary creator of "screen-accurate" limited edition prop replicas and collectibles from popular films, television shows, video games, and other entertainment mediums.

In this collector set, the legendary spacecraft becomes a suitable exhibition vessel for display and travel, holding the Boba Fett Tourbillon in its cockpit while displayed as a collection.

As seen in the classic film "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes BackTM", EFX created these accurate replicas of Boba Fett's spaceship. The intricately constructed ships are fashioned from aluminium and an acrylic foundation, with chosen detail components cast in resin. Each detail is individually cast from a master built from the identical model kit components used to create the screen-used object, and then meticulously hand-finished and painted. The components of the EFX watch display for Boba Fett's starship-inspired watch were created after a comprehensive examination of the screen-used artefact.
The starship-inspired watch display is mounted on a platform that resembles a spacecraft landing pad and is crafted from wood at Kross Studio ateliers.

Boba Fett leaves no detail to chance, a characteristic that has solidified his legendary position among many Star Wars fans. Kross Studio shares his relentless pursuit of accuracy, and with each new design, the brand solidifies its role as an icon in our galaxy. Similar to the Death StarTM Ultimate Collector Set that before it, this 10-piece set of Boba Fett Collector Sets will never be manufactured again, making them among the most prized Star Wars memorabilia in the galaxy.

Boba Fett collector sets will be available for purchase individually at kross-studio.com, as well as via official partners and approved shops.
