House of Gucci's Resort Collection is Perfect for the Summer

The Gucci Resort Collection, perfect for the upcoming summer season, was recently presented. Pieces in this collection include vibrant color palettes found only in the world's most desirable beach destinations.

Max Siedentopf has photographed a campaign for the Gucci Resort Collection in which the items take on colossal proportions in miniature dioramas of the many locales included in the collection, showcasing the Gucci Resort pieces in the brand's trademark fun approach. Beachgoers inject larger-than-life excitement into the still images, and tote bags and sunglasses become integral parts of the scenery from Miami to Okinawa, Jeju to Cancun.

The leather patch that reads "Miami" in shiny gold accents is a nice touch on the otherwise plain straw-like tote bag. The iconic summer retreat of The Hamptons, New York, is commemorated on a chevron-striped tote bag with shiny gold text. The top handle micro bag is defined by a printed leather patch that reads "Palm desert," the geographic location of the Coachella Valley in southern California.

The baseball cap is bright and summery thanks to the contrasting GG logo that covers the whole front of the cap in white against the light blue and beige chevron stripes. The green and pink chevron stripes and the GG emblem are also included on the hat's bucket style.

This pair of men's espadrilles from Gucci combines the label's iconic GG emblem with a gigantic herringbone pattern.

The House of Gucci celebrates the tradition of taking summer vacations by the sea with this exhibition. Several products from the Gucci Resort Collection are named after reimagined vacation spots and incorporate details like local hues and leather tags.
