Hyatt Enters the Waters of Finland with the Grand Hansa Hotel

Last week, Hyatt made an announcement that it has entered into an agreement with Primehotels Oy for the first Hyatt property in Finland. The luxury hotel is expected to open in 2022 and will occupy guests for a whooping 224 room.  Grand Hansa Hotel will become the first The Unbound Collection by Hyatt property in the Nordics as the brand enjoys continued momentum across Europe.

The interiors of this hotel will be in accordance with the Finnish folklore and mythology. It’ll represent the fascinating history of the city. The hotel with the beautiful atmosphere of Helsinki will provide each guest with a one-of-a-kind experience. All of this will be reflecting the true ethos of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand.

Prior to its opening, the hotel will undergo a renovation leading to the development of 224 upscale guestrooms and a newly built entrance. The large ground floor space will allow for significant food and beverage offerings, as well as extensive conference and meeting facilities.

According to forecasts and research, Helsinki will see 30 million passengers by 2030. Hence, this hotel can become a great hub for travellers of all kind- leisure and business. The hotel property is strategically located right opposite the Central Railway Station and only a 30-minute train or taxi ride from the award-winning Helsinki Airport.  Business travellers are closest to the hotel and of important government offices, including the University of Helsinki’s central campus.

Besides businessman, even leisure travellers will flock around the hotel since it is just 5 minutes away from nearby shopping outlets and tourist attractions such as the Helsinki Market Square and Finnish National Theater.

This hotIt will join the Hôtel du Louvre in Paris, Párisi Udvar Hotel in Budapest, Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, Nish Palas in Istanbul, Sofia Barcelona in Spain, Hôtel du Palais, Biarritz and the recently opened Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London.
