Automobili Lamborghini, the Italian supercar maker, has debuted the Huracán Tecnica, the company's next-generation rear-wheel drive V10. The engine is derived from the Huracán STO and has a 30 CV boost over the Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive (RWD). It produces 565 Nm of torque at a maximum 6,500 rpm and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
Automobili Lamborghini asserts that the Huracan Tecnica combines the best of both worlds and is an eminently adaptable super sportscar capable of being used on both the road and the circuit.
Lightweight
This lightweight Huracán includes a retuned LDVI system and various driving modes with a custom suspension setup, rear-wheel direct steering, and revolutionary brake cooling enhancements. The LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system regulates every element of the car's behaviour by combining vehicle systems and configuration to provide feed-forward pre-control in virtual real-time.The rear-wheel drive Tecnica is equipped with rear-wheel steering with direct steering ratio and torque vectoring, as well as a modified Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) and a Tecnica-specific suspension setup.
Driving Mode
Depending on the chosen driving mode – STRADA, SPORT, or CORSA – each dynamic system on the vehicle is tuned to deliver a highly distinct reaction to each setting. The improved brake cooling management system results in improved braking performance on both the road and the track. Carbon-ceramic brakes have specially engineered cooling deflectors and calliper ducts that guide airflow into the discs, increasing heat dissipation and lowering brake fluid temperatures and pedal elongation.
Design
The Huracán Tecnica has a strong, inward-facing front end with muscular shoulders and a completely carbon fibre hood. An air curtain has been added to a new bumper incorporating the Terzo Millennio's black Ypsilon motif. A redesigned front splitter with lower, open slats that drive air through the wheels contributes to downforce and cooling improvements. The new exotic car is 6.1 cm longer than the Huracán EVO and is inspired by the Essenza SCV12's daylight opening line. The black of the front Ypsilon feature carries across to the side air intakes of the automobile. The rear has a new vertical rear glass window, a revised bumper with improved air intake, a diffuser painted in body colour or optionally black, and new hexagonal exhaust pipes that offer the Tecnica's heightened fanfare.
Extraordinary Engine
The car's V10 engine is highlighted by a new engine bonnet made of lightweight carbon fibre. Damiso's new 20" diamond cut wheels have a hexagonal pattern and are mounted on Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres. On the inside, you'll find height-adjustable sports seats, lightweight doors, and seat belts with harnesses.
Unique HMI interface
Exclusive to the Tecnica is a new, advanced HMI interface. In a huge new 'arc' in front of the pilot, the driver's instrument display minimises colour and increases readability. The centre console panel has a real-time display of the LDVI capabilities, as well as all connection features, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The HMI, which is inspired by the STO, contains networked telemetry and on-board diaries of destinations and track times that are synced with the UNICA app.
Colour Choices
The automobile is available in eight basic exterior colours, but the Ad Personam programme offers over 200 additional paint possibilities. The owners may choose between a new Alcantara inside trim and other special choices like as stitching styles and colours and the 'Tecnica' emblem stitched into the seat bolsters.Apart from the Tecnica's one-of-a-kind options, Lamborghini's Ad Personam division enables buyers to customise their Huracán Tecnica with almost endless colour and trim combinations.
Huracán in a nutshell
Huracán all-wheel drive with rear-wheel steering represents the next level of aerodynamic design and engineering.
5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine generating 640 horsepower and 565 pound-feet of torque @ 6,500 rpm
For adaptability in daily and track driving, the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system and particular driving mode calibration are included.
Technologies that are lightweight, with a weight-to-power ratio of 2.15 kg/CV
In comparison to the Huracán EVO RWD, rear downforce increased by 35% and drag decreased by 20%.
A new brake cooling system and a redesigned exhaust system contribute to the engine's improved sound.
Numerous colour and trim possibilities in conjunction with the Ad Personam programme.
