1. Rosewood São Paulo, Brazil
Developed by French entrepreneur Alexandre Allard, who brought about the renaissance of the House of Balmain, Rosewood São Paulo will be located in a historic 1904 building that was formerly a maternity hospital. The highly anticipated hotel will feature 151 guestrooms and 122 owners’ suites, which will be situated within a vertical park created by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel. Adding to the hotel’s uniqueness, hotel guests will be able to access an adjoining music studio, a screening room, and high-end retail stores within the development.
2. Amanvari, Mexico
Situated in Baja’s East Cape – neighboring the recently opened Four Season Costa Palmas and fronted by the Sea of Cortez – the tranquil Amanvari will be comprised of 20 individual bi-level pavilions set within a beachfront mangrove jungle. Perched on stilts over a stunning waterway and designed to appear as floating islands, each accommodation will feature wrap-around decks, private pools, and ground floor indoor/outdoor lounging areas with hammocks and fire pits. Framed by the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range, the property was once the site of a historic hacienda and will offer visitors three restaurants (including a major name chef yet to be announced), a library and lounge, an infinity pool with four hot tubs and a spa pavilion.
3. Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Mexico
Providing 150 guest rooms and suites with the waterfront- or mangrove-facing terraces and private balconies, the Waldorf Astoria Cancun is set to open in Mexico’s nightlife and beach holiday hotspot, adjacent to the Hilton Cancun. A signature Waldorf Astoria Spa integrating Mexican healing traditions with native ingredients for its treatments fitness facilities will be available to guests, as well as state-of-the-art fitness facilities, two plunge pools, and two dining experiences.
4. St. Regis Bermuda Resort & Residences

Offering 150 guest rooms and suites, the property’s guests will also enjoy ski-in, ski-out access to over 2,300 hectares of Big Sky Resort’s terrain, an on-site 18-hole Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course, as well as proximity to the region’s world-renowned fly-fishing.
6. The Langham, Gold Coast
Langham Hospitality Group has confirmed plans to open a luxury hotel on Queensland’s Gold Coast at the end of 2021. Located on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise, the company’s third hotel in Australia will be housed in the central and tallest of the three landmark towers of the much-anticipated Jewel development and will feature 169 rooms and 18 suites – all enjoying impressive 180-degree uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean. Other facilities include the signature Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court with two private dining rooms, a sky terrace and bar, 500 square meters of spa facilities including seven treatment rooms, a gym, an indoor free form pool, and a second outdoor pool, and a 700-square-meter ballroom.
7. Anantara Jinsha Chengdu Hotel, China
Heralding the first luxury global hotel brand in the Qingyang District, the 150-key Anantara Jinsha Chengdu Hotel will front a 47-hectare eco wetland park, creating an urban oasis and outdoor space in the middle of the city. Located just 20 minutes from the new high-speed Chengdu West Railway Station, the upscale hotel will be well-positioned for well-heeled business travelers.

Located on the west side of Kea Island in the Cyclades – a spectacular region of hidden coves, olive groves, and pretty forests – this 65-hectare beachfront retreat will be home to resort-style rooms, suites, and villas, as well as a collection of private homes. 32. LXR Kyoto
The Japanese city of Kyoto is set to get its first property under Hilton’s luxury LXR Hotels and Resorts brand, which will also mark the brand’s debut in the Asia-Pacific region. The new property, which will be developed in partnership with local real estate company Tokyu Land Corporation, is scheduled to open in autumn 2021. Located at the foothills of the Takagamine mountains in the northern part of Kyoto, the new 114-room LXR hotel will form part of the 28.6-acre Shozan Resort Kyoto.
