Happiness
Lycka, luxury yacht named after the Swedish word for 'happiness,' was created to provide owners and visitors with the perfect home away from home in a Scandinavian-inspired but elegant place that evokes a feeling of renewal, wellness, and connection to the sea.
Scandinavian tendencies and an emphasis on welfare serve as the bedrock of modern design.
Smart Design
Tillberg Design of Sweden and Nobiskrug, a German superyacht function have introduced an intriguing new boat design. The 77m (252ft) Yacht Lycka has been painstakingly designed and manufactured to include the newest technology while maintaining a modern and athletic aesthetic. She has a configurable, Scandinavian-inspired interior and ample deck space. Lycka is another example of Nobiskrug's extensive expertise in oceangoing boats.
Scandinavian
The profile's clean, flowing lines provide it a contemporary and modern appearance, with a Scandinavian sense of lightness both inside and out. Lycka is well-proportioned and intelligently furnished for active owners, exuding a sense of balance and strength. Simultaneously, Nobiskrug's expertise in noise and vibration reduction technology will be used on the superyacht.
Luxury with Minimalism
Lycka's vast interior combines functionality and beauty with a Scandinavian-inspired minimalism and accents of luxury. On the main deck, which includes a vast salon and formal dining, an open plan design accentuated by enormous room-high windows and folding balconies enables the inside and outdoor to flow effortlessly.
A majestic foyer encircles a lift that ascends from the lower deck guest bedrooms to the bridge deck above. To port is a well-equipped kitchen and pantry room, while to starboard is a beautiful breakfast nook with another fold-down balcony right outside the owner's cabin. The owner's suite with full-beam ceilings has a couch sitting space and a huge bathroom with a dressing room.
Accomodations
Lycka accommodates up to 14 guests in the aforementioned owner's suite, as well as six more guest ensuites of comparable size on the lower deck. Forward are gracious crew quarters with 10 double cabins.
Lycka's design is unmatched in its attention to detail, and delicate pops of colour merge with rich materials to create an atmosphere of comfortable elegance. A hybrid gym/spa is positioned aft of the wheelhouse on the bridge deck, followed by an office, dayhead, and skylounge. This deck also houses the captain's quarters and a pantry with dedicated crew access to the galley below.
Entertainment
The outdoor areas are maximised throughout the 77-metre design, with lounging and a bar on the aft deck, a large dining and relaxation sanctuary on the bridge deck aft, and a wide sun deck ahead with a bar and further leisure and entertainment aft.
Advanced Tech
Lycka is intended to include cutting-edge technology and is Lloyd's Register certified. It is available with either diesel or hybrid power. The design incorporates TDoS's careful selection of sustainable materials, which may be customised to the owner's taste. Additionally, several design and colour choices are available for the exterior, which may be customised to achieve a classic, sporty, or ultra-modern appearance.
Contemporary & Classy
'Lycka has been carefully built for durability – from the hull form to the material choices to the technological systems – in order to fulfil future needs and environmental requirements,'explains Daniel Nerhagen, Partner & Yacht Director at TDoS.
'By collaborating with a famous German shipyard on this design, we want to construct a yacht that will survive the test of time while maintaining the greatest possible build quality. Philipp Maracke, CEO of Nobiskrug, continues: 'As seen by the last two years, the boat industry continues to develop. In collaboration with TDoS, we offer owners a vessel that is svelte and well-defined. A contemporary boat in which they will feel as content as the name implies. Lycka is immediately available for construction at Nobiskrug.
