Maison Hennessy Introduces First of Its Kind Hennessy Boutique in Paris Airport

Unique in Europe, a Hennessy boutique in the new Terminal 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport exhibits French art de vivre and cognac-making know-how via an exclusive selection of legendary blends, limited editions, customised services, and special events.

Maison Hennessy is thrilled to establish a travel retail store that is unique in Europe, situated in the newly restored, historic Terminal 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. This initiative is the result of a continuing partnership between Mot Hennessy and the Aéroports de Paris (Groupe ADP), Lagardère Travel Retail, and Extime Duty Free.

"Maison Hennessy is very happy to unveil our newest Travel Retail experience in Terminal 1 of the iconic Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. We are committed to further enhancing the travel experience by showcasing French savoir-faire in an environment dedicated entirely to the Hennessy art of cognac-making and featuring some of the most celebrated blends in history,"

said Laurent Boillot, president and chief executive officer of Maison Hennessy.

To represent a crown gem of French luxury and savoir-faire, Maison Hennessy adapted an innovative architectural idea conceived by Hubert de Malherbe for the multi-brand store Les Caves Particulières. The distinctive logo for Hennessy was inspired by the shipping crates that, beginning in 1765, transported Hennessy cognac from a humble settlement on the Charentes river to fashionable locations across the globe.

"Extime Duty Free Paris, a joint venture between Paris Airports (ADP) and Lagardère Travel Retail, is proud to cooperate with Maison Hennessy on this revised version of "Les Caves Particulières," which was a huge success in Terminal 2E Hall K. We are confident that customers in Terminal A will enjoy this new addition to the Gastronomy, Spirits, Wine & Champagne section, which is an integral part of the Ultimate Paris Shopping experience in this new terminal - and a sign of other beautiful future joint projects "

said Guy Bodescot, general manager of Extime Duty Free.

The Hennessy boutique offers an exceptional selection of Hennessy cognacs, including popular blends like as Hennessy X.O, Hennessy V.S., and Hennessy V.S.O.P, James Hennessy, as well as uncommon blends such as Hennessy Paradis, Richard Hennessy, and Edition Particulière. Special editions and limited editions contain artists, designers, and rare works from other heritage houses, such as leather manufacturer Berluti and porcelain manufacturer Bernardaud. A one-liter special edition of Hennessy X.O features Paris in a vibrant, lifestyle-driven design, making it a wonderful collectable or memento of an extraordinary trip to the City of Light.

Hennessy Paradis and its leather accessories may be customised with initials, characters, or symbols via the Hennessy Hands customization service, which enhances the shopping experience. An personalised procedure allows tourists to transform this ultra-luxurious cognac decanter into a one-of-a-kind item, evoking the individual gestures and specialised techniques that Hennessy cellar masters have passed down from generation to generation for over 250 years.

"The Hennessy shop-in-shop at Paris-Charles de Gaulle T1 takes the customer experience to an unprecedented level, not only because of the quality of its cognacs but also because it materialises the House's role as a global ambassador for the French art de vivre,"

said Laurent Boidevezi, President of Mot Hennessy Asia Pacific, Travel Retail & Private Sales.

The Hennessy shop-in-shop will host mixology events every month, giving travellers passing through Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1 the opportunity to discover new cocktails based on Hennessy X.O, along with take-home recipes that will allow them to enjoy an extra touch of the French art de vivre once they return home.

The CDGT1 Hennessy Shop-in-Shop is open everyday from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
