Mandarin Oriental Announces New Luxury Hotel Development in Kuwait

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has confirmed that it will operate a five-star hotel in Kuwait, scheduled to open in 2028. The hotel will be situated in the heart of Kuwait City's business centre and will provide a new level of luxury and elegance to the area.
The award-winning architects Foster and Partners will build the 80-story skyscraper that will house the Mandarin Oriental, Kuwait. In addition to the hotel, the tower will have a podium with a range of international retail and entertainment outlets as well as high-end office space.
It will also serve as the headquarters of Bukhamseen Group Holding, which is responsible for the entire development of the project.The hotel will contain 159 bedrooms, 33 suites, and 10 serviced apartments, all of which will provide views of the downtown area of Kuwait City.It will include a trademark dining experience, a three-meal venue, a poolside restaurant, a lobby lounge featuring a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop, a club lounge, and a shisha lounge. In addition, there will be enough dining and conference rooms to serve social and commercial functions.
A complete Spa at Mandarin Oriental will have eight individual treatment rooms, a fitness centre, and both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, the latter with a landscaped pool deck. The Spa will provide a variety of spa, beauty, and wellness activities.The hotel is conveniently located among the city's financial, commercial, and government organisations and is 20 minutes by car from Kuwait International Airport.
