The new 911 GT3 RS and GT3 RS with the Weissach Package from Porsche have been revealed. The mentality of racing drivers served as inspiration for both vehicles' pursuit of perfection. The new 911 GT3 RS chronographs by Porsche Design are now available to the select few who have purchased this high-performance sports vehicle.

Porsche Design's watchmaking plant in the Swiss town of Solothurn is staffed by expert artisans who meticulously handcraft each clock, proving that rapidity is not the sole requirement for excellent performance.

Are You Up for a Fast Race?

The stunning look and technological aspects of the chronograph make it a great companion to the motorised models it mimics. The chronographs' roots as racing clocks are highlighted by the pushers' laser engravings of "Start/Stop" and "Next Lap." The titanium watchcase may be purchased in either a black or natural colour. It has been dynamically water-resistant up to 5 bar, has been glass-bead blasted, and is equally at home in a rainy race or underwater. With its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and seven-fold anti-reflective coating on both sides, this watch is perfect for the fast-paced world of motorsports, allowing for the quick observation of critical information. The carbon-fiber dial stands out against the white ceramic Super-LumiNova® illuminated hour and minute indexes. With each passing second, the watches' PERFORMANCE (white), ESSENCE (black), or GT (yellow) hands reveal more of their racing heritage. An impression may be made in a few hundredths of a second by the red and white curbing design, while the 9 o'clock, matte black seconds disc is engraved with white '911 GT3 RS' text. The 'BORN IN FLACHT' inscription in the dial's sweet spot underscores the exceptional quality of this one-off clock. This timepiece is emblematic of the pursuit of speed records. At the finish line, the chronograph's second hand and 30-minute counter show conclusively whether or not the previous record has been broken. For the ring around the dial, the Porsche Design watch configurator provides a choice of nine colours. The back of this clock is seen by much fewer people than the back of a GT3 RS. Titanium, in the colour of your choice for the casing, and engraved with a message (such as the vehicle identification number, or VIN) of up to 12 characters. There is a rotor and complex clockwork mechanism within, and the sapphire-crystal case back makes it easy to see them.

Raise the pulse - and show it off.

If you're into racing and need to know how quickly your heart is beating during a pit stop, just glance at the new pulsometer scale on the bezel, which is made of titanium or titanium with a black titanium carbide coating. The timepiece comes with a pulse sensor so the user may simply start the chronograph whenever they want to check the time. The pulsometer's minute hand will cease moving after 30 beats, displaying the number of heartbeats per minute. Additionally, a tachymeter or minute display may be seen on the bezel.

The 911 GT3 RS chronograph, designed by Porsche and approved by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), incorporates a flyback function that combines starting, stopping, and resetting into a single action. The winding rotor has also been rethought to better complement the Porsche 911 GT3 RS's wheel rims. The lightweight magnesium forged wheel is a unique element of the 911 GT3 RS with the Weissach Package, and the design of its rim is replicated in the Weissach RS Rotor. Brilliant Silver, Neodyme, Black Satin, Dark Silver, Indigo Blue, and Pyro Red are the hues you may choose from. The new black rotor cap is a sleek complement to the silver RS insignia engraved on the wheel's centre lock. Each watch comes with a real leather strap that matches the quality and style of the inside of a Porsche automobile. The distinctive Porsche sensation is transferred to the wrist through elaborate perforation and backing made of Race-Tex in the chosen accent colour (GT Silver or Guards Red), as well as ornamental stitching made of vehicle yarn in the accent colour. The titanium case and clasp of this chronograph are complemented by the availability of premium metal straps. The 911 (992) configurator also offers a selection of high-quality leather straps in the carmaker's classic hues.
