Mercedes And Audi Sales in India May Zoom During Festive Season

The Indian festive season during the months of September to November and almost extending into the New Year is one of the most vibrant times in terms of mood, sentiments and of course transactions (from the business point of view). All businesses in India including real estate, automobiles, gold, etc. count on this period every year to make substantial sales and profits. This year everyone needs the Indian festive season to click more than ever.

Luxury car makers Mercedes-Benz India and Audi India are expecting a substantial increase in sales momentum in the upcoming festive season as there is hope that the overall trading and business environment picks up steam. Luxury cars in India have been steadily making their presence felt in India with sales happening briskly before the Covid pandemic time. The German luxury automobile brand is planning multiple marketing moves including digital campaigns and attractive offers including low EMI options, to attract more Indian luxury car buyers during this season.

Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Martin Schwenk has shared that the consumer demand is steadily increasing surging notwithstanding the pandemic and that is simply due to the whole aura owing to the forthcoming festive season. The celebrations and positive vibes charge the overall market driving sales across all segments literally. The overall sales pattern that this luxury car maker has been witnessing points towards the revival of sales of luxury cars in India.

Mecedes-Benz India has taken many steps to help consumer interest and to bring back the confidence that is needed. The luxury car company is gearing up to clock the same sales numbers that they had in 2019. Also, Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon feels that the festive season historically has been a solid sales period for the automobile business in India.

While the lockdown has dampened many things, the silver lining is the pent up interest of luxury car buyers that will convert into action due to the festive season.

Dhillon confirmed that Audi India is witnessing positive client interest in the Indian luxury automobile market and expects it to be more amplified during the upcoming festive season. Audi India plans to launch their new versions of - A6, A8 L, Q8 and RS 7 Sportback as they feel this will help them attract their clients in a big way.
