On the 18th of December 2022, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, one of the leading luxury hotels in Visakhapatnam with world-class facilities and all sea-facing rooms, teamed with Vizag Runners, a Visakhapatnam Runners club, and a social non-profit organisation.

The group is motivated by the government of Andhra Pradesh and Andhra University's support of many health advantages and learning and development opportunities.

The Vizag Marathon, one of the new standards for marathons in Vizag, was a successful event with the luxury resort supporting the runners in numerous ways, including supplying water, ORS, and glucose in recyclable paper cups as part of Planet 21's sustainability initiative. During the holiday season, the event was a wonderful occasion to celebrate sport and health.
