On July 17th and 24th, The Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre Will Host a Special Brunch in Honour of Bonalu

Bonalu Festival is one of the most well-known celebrations in Hyderabad, honouring Mahakali, the Hindu goddess of time and death, although it is mostly a festival about the feast, with food plays staged in her honour.

On the 17th and 24th of July 2022, the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre will host a special brunch to celebrate the Bonalu Festival. The event is observed mostly in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, and NHCC will observe it as part of its custom. Decorations of marigolds, traditional costumes for workers, and a potharaju performance passed down from generation to generation.

In honour of the Bonalu Festival, the luxury hotel in Hyderabad plans to showcase the luscious flavours of Hyderabad and Telangana cuisine in traditional clay pots, beginning with Prasadam counters such as Panakam, Bellam Annam, Pulihora, and Burelu, followed by Chicken Kaleji Fry, Telangana Kodi Roast, Tawa fish, Mamsam Dum Briyani, and Chepala Pulusu, and many other mouthwatering dishes. In addition to traditional food, they have introduced Asian, Indian, Western, Dosa, Jonna Roti, and a unique Egg Station with a range of options, as well as conversation counters.

According to Mr. Manish Dayya, General Manager of the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, "We all recognise Bonalu as the 'feast day of Telangana,' and Bonalu is celebrated with love and enthusiasm across Telangana, particularly by Hyderabadis. Our chefs have carefully prepared this unique menu for the Bonalu Brunch; we look forward to hosting foodies to sample the handmade menu of Telangana's regional cuisines. We would want to celebrate many more occasions in the future. We hope that all of our visitors enjoy the cuisine and atmosphere that we have created for this Festive Brunch between July 17 and July 24. We will continue to support similar efforts in the future, since NHCC is devoted to the welfare of our communities.
