One of One - The MANSORY 2-Door Gronos Coupé  EVO C 

MANSORY of Germany introduces the 'MANSORY Gronos Coupé EVO C 2-door coupé' developed on the Mercedes-Benz G-class. In accordance with the "One of One" idea, according to which each vehicle is supplied as a one-of-a-kind model, a limited run of eight units will also be built for a select group of consumers.

The Gronos Coupé EVO C has the most powerful conversion stage available, with 900 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque. The resultant performance numbers are (governed) 250 km/h and 3.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

Body–Conversion

To change the basic vehicle from a 4-door configuration to a 2-door configuration, considerable body alterations are required. As a first stage, the regular G-Class eliminates all four doors. The B-pillar is then relocated to the back to make room for the front doors, which have expanded to the same length. Concurrently, the doorstops are transferred from the A-pillar to the B-pillar.

This modification, which is hardly discernible from the outside, requires considerable technical and structural work. To retain the car's harmonious overall look, not only must all door mountings be shifted from the A-pillar to the B-pillar in mirror image, but also the complete door opening technology, including the door handles, must be adjusted.

All mechanical conversion steps are carried out while preserving the usual safety technology, and all essential visual conversion measures are carried out at significant expenditure by installing brand-new body pieces and repainting them to make them absolutely undetectable. Only in this manner is it feasible for the doors' conversion to be both aesthetically beautiful and technically flawless.

Like with other MANSORY G-Class full conversions, the "MANSORY Gronos Coupé EVO C" is also available in an armoured version upon special request.

Rims | Tyres

For the first time on the "MANSORY Gronos Coupé EVO C," rims of type "FD.15" are utilised. The specifications of the wheels and tyres are identical to those of the "Gronos EVO S" (tyre size: 295/30R24 all-round, wheel size: 10x24 all-round).

Performance

The "MANSORY Gronos Coupé EVO C" is based on the most potent version of the MANSORY refining programme for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class - the "Gronos EVO S" - and inherits its excellent performance figures without modification. In terms of horsepower and torque, this translates to 900 horsepower and 1,200 Newton-meters, respectively. The resultant performance numbers are (governed) 250 km/h and 3.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

The Interior

Like with other MANSORY full conversions, the interior's colour, quilting, and carbon design are essentially customizable.

Owing to the unavoidable needs of the 2-door conversion, the front seats are expanded by a folding mechanism compared to the regular seats. This makes rear-seat access much simpler and does not result in a significant reduction in comfort compared to the 4-door.The back of the vehicle has a comfortable single-seat configuration with an individually changeable centre console.
