One&Only and Montroi Introduce a Distinctive Scent Collection Inspired by The World's Most Alluring Locales

One&Only, the ultra-luxury resort brand with properties in the world's most unique locations, has unveiled a range of special perfumes created by Montroi. The partnership combines Montroi's sensual narrative and experimental attitude with One&Only's dedication to providing unique experiences throughout the globe. The voyage of the beautiful smells started over the course of two years, with each one handmade by craftsmen in Grasse, in the south of France, and embodying the spirit of a One&Only Resort, from the wilds of Rwanda to the sun-kissed coasts of the Maldives.

With a devotion to craftsmanship, authenticity, and attention to detail, the craftsmen of Montroi have captured the soul of each enthralling locale via a thoughtful combination of ingredients. Bergamot, sweet jasmine, and musky sandalwood evoke the ambiance of One&Only The Palm in Dubai; the coastal location of One&Only Palmilla is evoked with crisp notes of lemon, blackcurrant, and pine, with heart notes of sweet peach and musky, amber undertones; and a heady cocktail of pepper, vetiver, and musk evokes the verdant jungles of Rwanda and One&Only Gorilla's Nest. Each constituent has been meticulously chosen to create a fragrance that honours each One&Only location.

The co-founders of Montroi, Enrique Hormigo-Scarlett and Samir Aghera, add, "Working with One&Only and visiting the various sites has been an interesting experience. We have been able to mingle with local cultures and learn new crafts while discovering their distinct qualities in such great settings. We have met with a variety of artists with whom we have exchanged fresh ideas, which have greatly enriched the project. The 15 trademark perfumes reflect the enchantment of vacation travel and make for the ideal present or memento. Each item is wrapped in eco-friendly packaging and has hand-drawn artwork inspired by the resort. The perfumes are offered in 100ml bottles for $180 apiece, or as an Experience Set including 10ml of each of the 15 fragrances for $500. The collection will be available for purchase beginning on December 1 at One&Only Resorts and montroi.com.
