Pendennis is a global, award winning and highly reputed superyacht yard in Falmouth, United Kingdom. This yacht company specialises in creating bespoke luxury sail and super yachts.
After months of refitting, Pendennis is now set to launch their latest charter superyacht complete with hammam and spa. This time, they have left out no luxury element to ensure that all their clients get the ultimate luxury experience.
The yard, in Falmouth, Cornwall, was tasked with refitting the 74.5m My Lady E yacht.
Besides the hull which was extended by six metres and modernised, the outside look of the yacht was too enhanced. Pendennis engineers and artisans added a beach club complete with a fully equipped bar, 77’’ screen TV and wall mounted storage for a wide range of wake, surf, foil and e-foil boards.
Due to the extension, the living space has been increased. It now gives an uninterrupted panoramic view through the glass panel complete with “nightclub” specification audio and lighting systems for evening events.
Besides all the new improvements, they’ve added a range of decks on the luxury vessel equipped with new electronic systems and new engines along with a new teak decking to the stern, main deck, pool deck and sun deck areas.
The captain of this yacht, Charles DuGas-Standish commented saying, “The rebuild of Lady E was the most extensive I have been involved with during my 30 year career as a seafarer.
"Lady E entered the Pendennis shipyard as one of the leading charter yachts globally and is now leaving with unrivalled luxury, entertainment features and technology, as well as engineering reliability and safety.”
Toby Allies, joint managing director at Pendennis said: “We are very proud of what’s been achieved on the Lady E project. The scale and scope of the project have meant that all of our in-house specialist teams were called upon during the course of the yacht’s time at the yard.”
Calling it a real privilege to work with the team, the yard is to deliver her back to her owner so that they can enjoy it with their guests.
Lady E will be embarking on her world tour in 2021 starting in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific before relocating to the Caribbean and Bahamas by the autumn of 2021.
