Pharrell Williams, a visionary recording artist, producer, songwriter, philanthropist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur, has been appointed Men's Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. His first collection for Louis Vuitton will debut at Paris Men's Fashion Week in June. Virgil Abloh, who died away in November 2021, is succeeded by Pharrell Williams.

Pharrell Williams Biography
Pharrell Williams is a visionary recording artist, producer, songwriter, philanthropist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur who has accumulated 10 billion cumulative worldwide music streams to date. He has received 13 Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year in 2004, 2014, and 2019, and the ASCAP Golden Note Award in 2012. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his original song "Happy" (Despicable Me 2) and for co-producing Hidden Figures (2016), which was nominated for Best Picture. Williams was also nominated for a Golden Globe for his contribution to the film's score. Williams was nominated for an Emmy in 2019 for his original song "Letter to My Godfather," which was included in the Netflix series Black Godfather about iconic music producer Clarence Avant. The Songwriters Hall of Fame inducted Williams in 2020 for his work as The Neptunes.
Pharrell narrated Universal's adaptation of the classic film The Grinch in 2018, penned the book A Fish Doesn't Know It's Wet in 2018, and launched the Netflix Original series Brainchild (2018) with his producing partner Mimi Valdés. Other projects include Dope (2015), Roxanne Roxanne (2017), Voices of Fire (2020), Amazon's Harlem (renewal for a second season), and Lena Waithe's Rollin' for HBO Max.
In 2019, Pharrell created YELLOW, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping all youngsters fulfil their full potential via education. Williams founded Black Ambition in 2020, a non-profit project that offers a pathway to success for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs who are building tech, healthcare, Web 3.0, and consumer products/services startups.
Longtime opponent of racial injustice, Pharrell played a pivotal role in discussions with Virginia Governor Northam on making Juneteenth a permanent paid state holiday. In April 2019, Williams debuted SOMETHING IN THE WATER, a multi-day music event and beach experience in Virginia Beach, his birthplace. Last Juneteenth Weekend, Williams brought his SOMETHING IN THE WATER Music Festival to Washington, D.C. (June 17 – 19).
This April, SOMETHING IN THE WATER will return to Virginia Beach to continue shedding light on the local community.
Pharrell shines as a fashion designer and entrepreneur with businesses such as Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. Williams and David Grutman launched Swan and Bar Bevy in Miami's Design District in the autumn of 2019, and The Goodtime Hotel in 2021. Pharrell established HumanraceTM in 2020, a product firm with a vision to inspire all individuals in their quest of health across product and people.
Pharrell, a longstanding opponent of racial injustice, played a pivotal role in discussions with Virginia Governor Ralph Northam regarding Juneteenth being a permanent paid state holiday and continues to lobby for it to become a national holiday.
