Popular Womenswear Fashion Brand Roksanda, Will Debut Shoppable NFTs During London Fashion Week 2022

With each passing day, the Metaverse and NFTs become more immersed in the worlds of luxury and fashion. The newest entry is fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic, who will debut a set of NFTs at London Fashion Week as part of her autumn/winter 2022 collection, in collaboration with Clearpay, to bring digitisation, accessibility, and innovation to fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

On Monday, February 21, 2022 the designer will hold a catwalk presentation for her new collection, and the Institute of Digital Fashion has converted the demi-couture finale piece, a sculptural gown with a geometric pattern, into an NFT.

The NFT will be offered on a tiered basis, with prices ranging from 25 pounds for one of 500 3D garment renders that are 2D static collectibles to 250 pounds for one of 250 3D animated outfits renders and 3D object showcases. The top-tier 3D animated render will be available to just ten buyers and will cost 5,000 pounds.

Additionally, it contains software files that enable the NFT owner to make a digital replica of the gown for usage in the metaverse.

The digital look intends to provide physical access to her creations to consumers through Web 3.0 and will also be accessible for augmented reality try-on.

According to Nick Molnar, co-founder and CEO of Clearpay, this is part of the company's commitment to London Fashion Week, where they are ensuring that fashion is accessible to customers. Additionally, he said that by collaborating with Roksanda and the Institute of Digital Fashion this season, Clearpay would be able to do this in an interesting manner.

Additionally, he noted that they have jointly converted the AW22 demi couture style into an NFT, providing customers with unprecedented access to high-end fashion that they previously did not have.

Each NFT will be available for purchase on Roksanda.com and may be paid for in four interest-free instalments using Clearpay.
