The Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton Gold is an Exquisite Example of Cutting-Edge Technology

Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton Gold

Bell & Ross, the French watch maker, unveiled a golden version of the sporty-chic BR 05 watch.

The BR 05 Skeleton Gold has a famous "square inside a circle" design. The anti-reflective-treated flat sapphire crystal is supported by the satin-brushed steel bezel, which is secured by four polished steel slotted screws.

This gives 100 metres of water resistance. The case's midsection is satin-brushed on both sides and is accented by two 45-degree bevels.

The caseback is equipped with anti-reflective sapphire crystal, enabling the rear of the movement to be seen with a focus on the 360° oscillating weight. The total thickness of the timepiece does not surpass 5.45 millimetres.

The big numbers were replaced with baton-shaped, golden appliqué indexes to improve legibility. The baton-shaped skeletonized hands are covered with Grade X1 White 10 Super- LumiNova®, a material that emits green light.

The transparent display shows the mechanical mysteries of the timepiece. Below the dial's colourful veneer, the movement is visible via translucent and contrasting effects. The micro-blasted ruthenium plate and upper bridge of this movement profited from a high degree of accuracy.

Integrating the centre link of the bracelet into the case is another indicator of the watch's high degree of craftsmanship.

"The incorporation of the bracelet into the case adheres to the brand's standards while adding a new dimension to the watch: the initial link is a component of the case. This style of design has been a benchmark since the 1970s, and when applied to Bell & Ross, it produces a solution that is both apparent and ergonomic."

Bruno Belamich, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Bell & Ross

The design of this connection method enables the BR 05 Skeleton Golden to be connected to a steel bracelet or a rubber strap. This new timepiece comes in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
