The Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga second marketing campaign has been unveiled.
Since 2021, the exquisite vintage champagne company and the American singer, songwriter, and actress have been pushing the boundaries of creativity by mixing their works. This year's advertising campaign emphasises "creativity" and is complemented by Dom Pérignon's 2013 vintage.
The latest chapter of the Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga partnership honours the commitment to the invigorating, elevating work of creativity. A film created by French music video director, graphic designer, and singer-songwriter Woodkid and a set of pictures shot by Italian-American photographer and filmmaker Mario Sorrenti actualize their shared vision of the creative process.
Common Vision
"Making Vincent Chaperon, the Cellar Master of Dom Pérignon, re-creates the wine with each vintage. His creative method parallels Lady Gaga's, since they both see their art as a type of labour. In addition to inspiration, there is effort, commitment, and skill. It is labour, but it is extraordinary and passionate labour that elevates us to the sublime."
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 honours the 2013 winemaking season, which marked a welcome return to the great history of late harvest vintages. Following a winter that was chilly and wet, April was cool and severely rainy. Yet, the hot and dry summer benefited the quality of the grapes. The beautiful aroma of the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 champagne unfurls in hues.
The green of eucalyptus, mint, and vetiver; the yellow-orange of mirabelle plums, apricot, and orange flower; the brown of pepper, cardamom, and licorice sticks; and, lastly, the silvery saline and toasted hues. The mouthfeel is refined, and the finish is dominated by a salinity that imparts a profound sense of constancy.
