GENEVA
Christie's Geneva Magnificent Jewels auction on 8 November 2022 features the finest in exceptional gemstones, as well as historic and contemporary jewels, led by The Fortune Pink (estimate: CHF25,000,000-35,000,000), an exceptional fancy vivid pink diamond of 18.18 carats, the largest vivid pink pear-shaped diamond ever to be offered at auction. The diamond's weight, 18.18 carats, is a precise representation of certain wealth in Asia (please find the dedicated press release here).
The Fortune Pink and all other items will be on display at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva from 3 to 8 November, 2022.
A unique assortment of Exceptional Gemstones, Noble Provenance Jewels, and Iconic Designs.
The collection of Lord and Lady Weinstock also includes an impressive diamond Rivière necklace containing a 10.33-carat pear-shaped diamond (estimate: CHF550,000-750,000). This exceptional rivière necklace, with a total carat weight of nearly 100 carats, epitomises its name, which means 'river' in French, by symbolising the continuous, sparkling stream of diamonds around the neckline.
This item will garner considerable interest due to its remarkable origin from Arnold Weinstock, a prominent entrepreneur in postwar Britain, and his wife Netta Sobell.

Jewels provenanced to the Bourbon Parma and Thurn and Taxis families include an Art Deco natural pearl, ruby, and diamond 'Chimera' bracelet (estimate: CHF100,000-180,000) and an extraordinary pearl necklace by Bulgari (estimate: CHF120,000-200000) (estimate: CHF300,000-500,000).
