The Laureato Absolute Chronograph AM F1 Edition is a revolutionary timepiece that blends two worlds: micromechanics and Formula OneTM's high performance.
The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula OneTM Team is headquartered at Silverstone, England, near the renowned racetrack. In light of this, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Chronograph Aston Martin F1 Edition is limited to 306 pieces, the entire distance Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel will attempt to travel at the 2022 British Grand Prix (5.891km x 52 laps).
Girard-Perregaux is a leading Swiss Luxury Watch Manufacturer.
Connecting Passion With Results
The 44mm casing of the new Laureato Absolute Chronograph Aston Martin F1 Edition is cutting-edge. Its composition combines titanium powder and carbon materials from two 2021 F1 racing cars, a first in the watch business. Using a sophisticated manufacturing technique, the separate components are combined with a coloured resin. The resulting material's ductility surpasses that of steel. Each clock will have its own aesthetic identity and will be distinguishable from all others on the market. The watch's dial is displayed in sunray 'Aston Martin Racing Green' and is embellished with cross-hatching, a design that dates back to the Aston Martin 'AM' logo of 1921. This new watch boasts open-worked hands throughout to provide an air of sportiness to the design. As a nod to the design of the Aston Martin F1 automobile, the chronograph hands are marked with a splash of lime. The counterweight on the middle chronograph hand is reminiscent of the side strakes seen on many Aston Martin automobiles.
THE CALIBRE GP03300
This distinctive case is equipped with Girard-self-winding Perregaux's chronograph movement, which drives two counters, a tiny seconds subdial, and a date display. In addition to providing absolutely precise timekeeping, it is characterised by its comfortable power reserve and very smooth pusher actuation. Its horological features are enhanced by excellent finishing, such as "Côtes de Genève," chamfering, and straight graining, all of which are the result of the Manufacture's cultivation of various talents. On the back of a Laureato Absolute Chronograph for the first time, sapphire crystal has been included. Now, the automated Manufacture movement, the Calibre GP03300-1058, is visible to the wearer.
