In several Indian states, Makar Sankranti, Pongal Lohri, and Bhogi are celebrated during the harvest season during the month of January in Visakhapatnam.

Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and The Bheemili Resort will host the Millet Food Festival from the 13th to the 22nd of January 2023, beginning at 7:30 p.m., to commemorate the harvest season.

2023 has been designated by the United Nations as the Millet Year, and what better location to celebrate it than India, the greatest producer of millet? In addition to imparting a wonderful and distinctive taste to our foods, millet has various health advantages, including being a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness in the City of Destiny, Vizag, the properties will employ organic millet from various regions of India, including Amaranth, Buckwheat, Finger Millet, Foxtail Millet, Pearl Millet, Sorghum, and others.
