Montblanc and Ferrari have collaborated to produce the Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 Limited Edition, the newest collector. The exquisite writing tool bears tribute to the Ferrari Daytona SP3, the brand's newest Icona variant.

The limited edition Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 is the result of a synthesis of quality and an outstanding design challenge that transfers the dimensions and fluidity of the Daytona SP3 into a daring and refined new symbol.

The style of the automobile - its hallmark of authenticity, uniqueness, and recognition - is embodied in the name and dynamic lines of a high-performance fountain pen designed in collaboration with the Ferrari Design team to improve the writing experience.

The Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 Limited Edition 599 was co-designed by Ferrari Chief Design Officer Flavio Manzoni. It honours the design DNA - a stilema - that makes every Ferrari automobile identifiable, including the architecture and proportions, surfaces, volumes, and aerodynamics.

Lightweight

By the use of lightweight titanium for the cap and barrel, the Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 evokes the Daytona SP3's flowing form. The slant of the cap top imitates the way the nose of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 slashes through the air, while the accents on the forepart and barrel are inspired by the bumpers' blades.

The Mechanism

The writing utensil has an Au 750 solid white gold nib and a concealed ink refill mechanism. Driven by the technical vision of Ferrari Design, this mechanism has been designed in a novel manner for Montblanc, complementing the writing instrument's elegant profile. Its ink-filling mechanism is concealed under a crimson, semi-transparent blade slicing through the titanium barrel. It embodies the sleek lines of the Ferrari Daytona SP3. This edition's mechanism can only be seen by reversing the blade, which is crafted from solid white gold.

The solid Au750 white gold nib is engraved with "SP3," and the famous Ferrari Prancing Horse is laser-engraved on the cap.

The titanium forms and milling patterns evoke the car's motion in a subtle interplay of lights and darks, complemented with an unusual red resin embellishment. The cap, the handmade nib, and the ink-filling mechanism are illuminated with white gold to symbolise Ferrari's cutting-edge engineering.
