Shaped by Desire: Mercedes-Benz continues its long tradition of producing agile, opulent fantasy automobiles with a new, independent series. The new CLE Coupé employs the conceptual and technological innovations of the C-Class and E-Class. With its expressive design, exclusive comfort features for maximal individuality, and assured, agile driving performance, the new two-door automobile goes its own way. In November, Europe will witness the introduction of the CLE Coupé. Next year, open-air enthusiasts will be able to purchase the CLE Cabriolet. The new two-door coupe is the largest in the mid-size segment, measuring 4,850 millimetres in length, 1,860 millimetres in width, and 1,428 millimetres in height. The CLE Coupé offers substantially more capacity than the C-Class Coupé due to its larger dimensions, particularly its 25 millimetre longer wheelbase. There is 10 millimetres more headroom, 19 millimetres more shoulder and elbow room, and 72 millimetres more knee space for the rear occupants. The trunk provides an additional 60 litres of space and can accommodate three golf bags with ease.

Sporty luxury:

The interior features a freestanding 12.3-inch, completely digital instrument display, an 11.9-inch, driver-oriented central display in user-friendly portrait format, and dynamic ambient lighting with 64 colour options. Upon request, it can extend from the centre console to beneath the exterior air intakes. A light strip extends along the armrest and beltline in the rear of each door. Developed exclusively for the CLE, the front seats feature an integrated sport design. In conjunction with the optional Burmester® 3D surround sound system, the two speakers at the level of the headrests create a uniquely personal and immersive music experience with Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio in close proximity to the ears.

The CLE Coupé incorporates a number of the new E-Class's digital advancements via the latest iteration of MBUX. With its new electronic architecture and third-generation MBUX infotainment system, it is the most intelligent coupé with a star. It offers an exceptionally interactive entertainment experience with third-party applications and a new level of customization with automated convenience functions (routines).

Electrified driving experience:

Standard chassis lowering of 15 millimetres provides sporty and pleasant driving satisfaction. The optional DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL with continuously adjustable suspension on the front and rear axles in conjunction with rear-axle steering, both of which are available as part of the Technology package, provides exceptionally dynamic and at the same time comfortable driving. Up to 2.5 degrees of steering angle are allowed. This decreases the turning circle by 50 cm. Despite its larger dimensions, the CLE Coupé with rear-wheel drive has a smaller turning circle than the C-Class Coupé (10.7 metres as opposed to 11.2 metres).

Numerous driver assistance systems, some of which have been further developed, offer situation-specific support for enhanced safety. Among the extensive standard equipment are ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and the parking bundle with a reverse camera. Standard equipment in Western Europe also includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC.

Information regarding fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, electricity consumption, and range is provisional and was determined internally using the "WLTP test procedure" certification method. To date, neither confirmed values from an officially acknowledged testing organisation nor an EC type approval nor a certificate of conformity with official values are available. It is conceivable for the data to deviate from the official values.
