Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition
In January 2023, Bottrop, Germany-based BRABUS and Italian luxury watchmaker Panerai unveiled their newest timepiece to commemorate the debut of a new BRABUS Marine Shadow premium powerboat.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition incorporates a number of significant features introduced by its predecessors, as well as new materials and a rethought distinctive design.
The Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition is limited to 200 pieces and has a 47mm case composed of Carbotech, a composite material originally employed by Panerai in watchmaking. Carbotech is stronger and more malleable than steel or titanium and is resistant to corrosion. It is also lighter than these materials. The hands, rehaut, rubberized crown, am/pm indication, and tiny seconds sub-dial all have a military green colour. The movement lever and loop have the BRABUS emblem.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition is driven by a movement based on the P.4000 calibre, which was the first automatic movement with an off-center micro-rotor created by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchatel. Its descendant, Caliber P. 4001/S, is an automated, skeletonized movement with a three-day power reserve and a power reserve indication on the case back. As a result of cutting-edge technology, the skeletonized movement is clearly evident since the date disc does not impede it.
The 47mm watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel for estimating immersion time and GMT function, a one-piece, off-center oscillating weight that facilitates bi-directional winding, and two spring barrels that wound the watch effectively while worn. The stop balancing wheel and seconds reset devices provide synchronisation of the time with a reference time signal.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition (PAM01283) is water-resistant to 30 bar ( 300 metres) and comes with two straps: one in black bi-material calf leather fused with a rubber base and another in military green rubber. In addition, a screwdriver is supplied for removing the buckle.
