The Stunning New Huracan Sterrato Made Its Debut at the Lamborghini Miami Beach Lounge

Monday, December 1, 2022

The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato made its North American premiere at the Lamborghini Beach Lounge at the 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami yesterday. It is the first all-terrain super sports car. The eco-friendly five-star hotel offers a cutting-edge backdrop, perfect for presenting the new V10 masterpiece outside the concrete jungle.

Automobili Lamborghini's Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, together Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer, Mitja Borkert, and Federico Foschini, hosted an exclusive evening event where they unveiled the Huracán Sterrato and invited long-time clients, VIPs, and journalists.

A VIP seaside pop-up lounge welcomed Lamborghini owners and other guests during Art Basel Miami

Mr. Winkelmann said that the city of Miami was chosen to introduce the Huracán Sterrato because

"it is a melting pot of incredible culture, creativity, and cutting-edge design."

"The feeling I get when driving this car is like the feeling I get when I passionately connect with a fantastic piece of art: it's utterly individual, deeply emotional, and indisputably exhilarating."

If you're looking for a car that can deliver a whole new level of driving passion and excitement, go no further than the Huracán Sterrato, which is built for maximum fun even on uneven or sandy surfaces. The Huracán Sterrato has a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 610 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque (at 6500 rpm), a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and electronically controlled all-wheel drive with a mechanical rear self-locking differential. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h (approximately 60 mph) in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260 km/h (ca. 160 mph).

The Lamborghini Beach Lounge displays two Huracán Sterrato, one in the exterior colour Verde Gea and the other in the exterior colour Bianco Phanes. Three digital displays show the Huracán Sterrato in action on a variety of terrains, from mud and gravel to sand, and wind their way around the cars. Off-road riding in the countryside, parasailing in the mountains, and windsurfing at the beach are just a few examples of how each installation is brought to life by an activity that is perfectly suited to its location.

The new high-end 3T Exploro Racemax x Huracán Sterrato bicycle is designed to be ridden on any terrain. Featuring the same Verde Gea livery as the Huracán Sterrato and a brand inscription on the saddle, this Italian-made creation was crafted using 3T's own carbon fibre technology. The bike will be available via 3T distributors in several countries beginning in the early 2023.

The Lamborghini Beach Lounge has works by famous artist Fabian Oefner, including works from his classic "Disintegrating" series, which depicts super sports automobiles that seem to crumble. Disintegrating X - Lamborghini Miura SV (2019) has a photo that seems like it was created using a computer. To make it, we photographed every part of a 1972 Miura SV and pieced together the photos to make a collage showing the car disintegrating at high speed. Oefner spent a year documenting all 2,358 parts of the race car at the Automobili Lamborghini factory in Italy for his next project, Disintegrating Essenza (2022). Then, he put everything together to make it seem like a vehicle was sent into space like a rocket in the middle of the night. Two Heisenberg Lamborghini sculptures are shown with these prints.

Also longtime partner Automobili Lamborghini and luxury watchmaker Roger Dubuis have introduced their latest timepiece, the Excalibur Spider Huracán Monobalancier, a limited edition of just 28 pieces (MB). The pounding heart clock is a great example of what can happen when brilliant watchmakers collaborate with forward-thinking technologists. It has all the precision and adrenaline of the Huracán Sterrato super sports vehicle, together with the horological perfection of the Maison. Holding power at its peak Rapidest possible speed up Fantastic new experiences.

Guests of the Lamborghini Beach Lounge in Miami must have an invitation to enter between December 1 and 3, 2022.

The vehicle has not been made available for sale, hence the requirements of Directive 1999/94/EC do not apply. The data on energy use and pollution output are currently being type-approved.
