From October 21-23, 2022 the WatchTime New York luxury watch exhibit and collector event will return to Gotham Hall, giving watch enthusiasts an unique opportunity to meet with the world's most innovative watchmakers. WatchTime New York is the focal point of the unofficial "WatchTime Week" and has spawned other offshoot events. This year, the WatchTime team has coordinated dates with the Windup Watch Fair, and the two events are expected to attract more than 90 watch manufacturers and countless worldwide collectors to Manhattan in October.
Panels to Feature Iconic Watchmakers Max Büsser, Kari Voutilainen, William Massena, and Others at North America's Most Important Direct-to-Consumer Luxury Watch Show
It is anticipated that some of the most innovative brains in watchmaking will be in attendance. MB&F's horological pioneer Max Büsser is scheduled to make his WatchTime New York debut. Along with the legendary watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, William Massena of Massena Lab will make a welcome comeback. These pioneers and others are contributing to a new revival in high-end watchmaking, with record sales and lengthy waiting lists for their most coveted models.
The significance of WatchTime New York as the most significant event of its type in North America is evidence of collectors' desire to find innovative brains and independent businesses off the main road. The event has always been successful in providing hands-on encounters with exhibiting businesses, 32 so far this year.
For collectors in attendance, a celebrity watchmaker demonstrating the inner workings of their wristwatch masterpieces is comparable to attending a private performance by a musical icon. These wonderful, indelible one-on-one interactions keep WatchTime New York exhibition goers coming back year after year.
This year, WatchTime New York will open the stunning Gotham Hall mezzanine for the first time to accommodate A. Lange & Sohne, a watchmaker exhibition and demonstration area, and an upmarket lounge. The event will also have an extended three-day schedule.
The Friday night VIP cocktail event is nearly totally sold out a month before the concert. Tickets for a single day are available at watchtimeevents.com.
