The World's Fastest Triple-axis Tourbillon, Purnell's Escape II is Now Jaw Droppingly Colourful Too

The world’s fastest triple-axis tourbillon has added vibrant colors enhancing its luxury features to an all new level. Purnell’s Escape II with its 18k rose gold outer tourbillon cages and 304 rubies, emeralds and yellow, pink, blue, purple and green sapphires is a sight to behold indeed. Slight modifications to the gems include their shape from round to baguette and the color from clear to a spectrum of blues, purples, pinks and greens.

For those looking for an incredible timepiece, Purnell is the answer to your question. These ultra-luxury watch makers create some of the most jaw dropping tourbillon watches. Crafted specially by “the Mozart of multi-axis tourbillons,” Eric Coudray who is one of the world's most sought after luxury watchmakers. Coudray has a company called TEC Ebauches, in Vallorbe, Switzerland that has created movements for luxury watches including MB&F, Louis Moinet and Manufacture Royal and some other big luxury watch brands. As a matter of fact, Coudray has worked for almost twenty years with Jaeger-LeCoultre, where he created the Master Gyrotourbillon 1, a spherical dual-axis tourbillon which has been a favourite among watch lovers too.

Between 2017 and 2019, Purnell designed the Spherion in the 42mm The Copthorne P3 Escape I and was available in watch jewelry stores. The Escape II's watch's design includes six different colored tourbillon bars which were only available up to neon green, mustard yellow or crimson.

People interested in a tourbillon watch want more than just an impressive timepiece. They also want the watch to have a quality aesthetic that they would be proud to wear. As such, Cartier creates watches that are large, 48mm x 19mm thick, with hand-wound movements that boast a 32-hour power reserve. Furthermore, the rotating cages on these tourbillon watches, which require some serious energy to power, are discreetly hidden behind monobloc sapphire crystal.

The Ballon d’Or Unique Piece, produced to honour top male & female footballers, incorporates a minute tourbillon powered by winding on the side of the gold football, which also encompasses the ball. The timepiece honors Lionel Messi on his seventh win, with Barcelona's top female player, Alexia Putellas who brought home the Player of the Year award. Seen in collections for over 10 years, Purnell continue to show their renowned craftsmanship with this design while honoring outstanding professional athletes.

If you love speed and luxury watches, this luxury time piece will enthral you no end. The speedy $490,000 'Escape II 18k Rose Gold Rainbow' watch is definitely worth your time. Along with the unique colors, Purnell has incorporated put 50 hours of operating time in just 7 minutes.
