New for the New Year are three colours from McLaren Automotive and luxury sneaker label APL.
Luxury sports car maker McLaren Automotive and high-performance sneaker maker APL have introduced three new, striking hues of the APL McLaren HySpeedTM.
The collaboration between APL and McLaren, two companies with a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and performance, continues with the second drop of the APL McLaren HySpeedTM range of luxury sneakers inspired by McLaren's iconic supercars and hypercars, following the initial global release in August of last year.
Both APL and McLaren Automotive are at the top of their game because they successfully combine the pursuit of performance with world-class quality and luxurious materials, and their products are a perfect example of this.
With shared values, the partnership between McLaren and APL followed a course that included elements of both companies' design tenets. As a result, a brand-new collection of high-quality shoes was developed with enhanced aesthetics, functionality, technology, and handiwork.
"APL McLaren HySpeedTM shoes were met with widespread acclaim upon their first release, so we worked with the company again to bring you some fresh new hues that capture the spirit of our supercars in a shoe. It's no surprise that two of the most innovative companies in their respective fields would join forces; both McLaren and APL are committed to improving performance via innovative design and technology."
At McLaren Automotive, George Biggs is in charge of sales and marketing.
"The introduction of our three new colours for the HySpeed and our growing partnership with McLaren Automotive is an exciting development. The new colours show how dynamic and engaging the partnership can be, especially with a one-of-a-kind colour scheme like the Pristine/Magenta ombré fade."
In honour of the 'Wizards of Woking,' we at APL created and applied special colour and texture schemes to the latest iteration of the HySpeed.APL was founded by brothers Adam Goldston and Ryan Goldston.
Now available for the 2023 APL McLaren HySpeedTM are three new colorways:
Magenta/Pure — The vivid magenta represents the powerful performance and agile handling, while the pure white and gold pay respect to the lavish way of life at APL and McLaren.
The McLaren interior and the French Riviera served as inspiration for this colour scheme.
Black/White — A modern take on APL's all-time best-selling colour scheme.
McLaren Automotive creates luxurious and powerful sports automobiles. Each vehicle is assembled by hand at the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) in Woking, Surrey, England.
Established in 2010, it has grown to become the largest company in the McLaren Group.
The GT, supercar, Motorsport, and Ultimate versions are carried by over 100 retailers in over 40 countries.
McLaren is a pioneering company that constantly explores new frontiers. The McLaren MP4/1, which debuted in 1981, was the first Formula One vehicle to use a carbon fibre chassis.
After that, in 1993, the company launched the McLaren F1 road car, and it hasn't made a car without a carbon fibre chassis since. One of the first hybrid hypercars available to the public was the McLaren P1TM from the company's Ultimate Series. The 2016-unveiled Speedtail reportedly to replace the current Ultimate vehicle in 2018.
In 2019, McLaren released the 600LT Spider, the GT, and the McLaren Senna GTR, which is designed specifically for use on the track. The 765LT followed the 620R and McLaren Elva the next year.
McLaren has just released the McLaren Artura, a new high-performance hybrid supercar.
Using McLaren's new Carbon Lightweight Architecture, the Artura is the company's first production car to do so (MCLA). McLaren's innovative approach to lightweight construction—called the McLaren Composites Lightweight Architecture (MCLA)—will drive the company towards the future of electric vehicles.
McLaren Automotive is very selective in the companies and organisations it partners with, opting instead to work with those at the cutting edge of their fields. Ashurst, Bowers & Wilkins, Gulf, InfiniteWorld, Pirelli, Richard Mille, Plan International, and Tumi are among the brands represented here.
