American Luxury Jewelry and Specialty Retailer Tiffany & Co. has announced that their summer exhibition 'Vision and Virtuosity' will take place at London's Saatchi Gallery.
The free show, which runs from June 10 to August 19, will include over 400 artefacts from the jewellery brand's archives, including the brand's newly acquired Empire Diamond, weighing more than 80 carats.
'Vision and Virtuosity' tells the extraordinary story of one of the world's oldest luxury jewellers, through its nearly 200-year history of pioneering creativity, legendary craftsmanship, and sourcing the world's most extraordinary diamonds and gemstones,"said Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co.
"This show exemplifies our long history of combining tradition and modernity. We are happy to introduce London to the world of Tiffany & Co. and our distinctive high jewellery aesthetic."
The exhibit, which commemorates the jeweller's 150th anniversary in London, will take visitors on a journey through jewels, craftsmanship, and creativity, with archival high jewellery designs, Tiffany's renowned window displays, and pop culture memorabilia such as the original script from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Tiffany & Co. will inaugurate a brand display at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
The exhibition is described as a "visual record" of the illustrious goldsmith. The exhibition will be divided into seven segments, each of which will focus on a different aspect of Tiffany's brand identification, tradition, and creative impact.
There will be parts dedicated to founder Charles Lewis Tiffany's legacy, as well as to the works of some of the House's greatest creative forces, including Jean Schlumberger and Elsa Peretti, as well as to Tiffany's yearly Blue Book high jewellery collection.
Additionally, there will be a room dedicated to Breakfast at Tiffany's, sections devoted to Tiffany's famed diamond designs and the Tiffany Setting engagement ring from 1886, and a final area dedicated to the fabled 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond.
"Since its beginnings, Tiffany & Co. has had a unique place in culture,"stated Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany & Co.'s senior vice president, product and communications.
"'Vision and Virtuosity' honours the House's key events, highlights the extraordinary archive, and demonstrates why Tiffany & Co. is such an iconic brand."
The show is accompanied by a book published by Assouline New York, authored by Vivienne Becker and including an introduction by the late André Leon Talley.
Additionally, there will be an on-site gift store selling an unique selection of artist collaborations and limited-edition Tiffany Blue goods. Daniel Arsham-designed T-shirts and hoodies, Tiffany & Co. x Wilson American footballs, Quartersnacks skateboards, Mellow Gemini vases, Krink paint markers, Caran d'Ache pen and pencil sets, and Bellocq tea sets are among the collaborations.
From May 2, 2022 tickets will be available for pre-purchase through the 'Vision and Virtuosity' app.
