Luxury luggage makers TUMI and McLaren are expanding their product lines.
TUMI, headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, is the top travel and leisure company in the world. They have just released a new line of products designed in collaboration with British luxury supercar maker and top racing team McLaren.
Along with McLaren's supercars, TUMI and its design teams have created a capsule collection that breaks all previous records for lightweight and performance.
CX6TM is a novel and flexible carbon fibre material that has been used to recreate essential pieces from the present collection. CX6TM is a premium, high-performance fabric designed with exceptional qualities that make it an abrasion-resistant material that helps preserve the integrity and lifespan of carbon fiber's charcoal-smooth surface.
The new colour scheme symbolises the core McLaren DNA, which is founded on a shared commitment to innovation, technology, and design; moreover, in the almost four decades since the company's founding, McLaren has not developed a single race car or roadcar without using carbon fibre.
The most current line include a Carbon and moulded Carbon Fibre expandable four-wheel carry-on with Tegris side panels, as well as a leather-trimmed Velocity backpack, Torque sling, and Quantum duffel.
On October 13, TUMI's newest additions to the TUMI | McLaren collection will become available on TUMI.com and at TUMI stores across the globe.
