Two Battista Pure Electric Hyper GT Vehicles are Delivered by Automobili Pininfarina, Expanding Their North American Presence

The first Battista pure-electric super GT cars built in North America come courtesy of Automobili Pininfarina. Also leaving the Battista Atelier in Cambiano, Italy this month for its owner in the United States is the rare Battista Anniversario. Automaker Automobili Pininfarina has increased its presence in North America by teaming up with a dealership in Dallas, Texas, just in time for the debut of the brand's first two Battista vehicles in the country.

New York is hosting a customer event where they will debut Battista, their first ever series production. The brand-new four-piece Battista Luggage Collection will be shown beside it. Trimmed in tan leather with matching stitching and Triangolo quilting, the set is a nod to the interior design of the 2021 Villa d'Este Best of Show winner, the Verde Paradiso Battista.

The first Battista to be exported to the United States was designed and built to the specifications of its owner, a private collector on the West Coast, with the help of Automobili Pininfarina's chief designer, Dave Amantea. It has a sophisticated design with silver and carbon fibre and touches of red metal. The car stands out further thanks to the Argento Liquido paint treatment on the outside, the Carbon Accent Pack, and the blacked-out exposed characteristic Carbon mirror caps.

Nero covers the elegant Goccia roof, and the buyer selected brushed aluminium with a stunning red paint job for the Exterior Jewellery Pack. The black Impulso wheels are set off by the red accents of the centre lock rings and brake callipers.

The leather used in the inside is chrome-free and was ethically tanned using olive tree leaves by a supplier local to Automobili Pininfarina in Italy. In keeping with the rest of the cabin's colour scheme and design, the red GT seats are upholstered in high-quality leather with black contrast stitching and quilting. This theme is continued by the black Triangolo quilting on the centre console and door inserts. To match the inside Aluminum Detailing, this model comes with a unique car key that has a stripe of red anodized brushed aluminium.

The second Battista to roll out of the Atelier this month is one of five one-off Battista Anniversario vehicles that were sold to buyers in the United States ahead of the model's world premiere in 2021 at Monterey Car Week.

NEW BATTISTA ATELIER, MANUFACTURED IN ITALY

Each Battista is lovingly constructed by hand at the brand-new Atelier, where prospective buyers are invited to a unique commissioning salon to help design their super GT in a group setting as part of the exclusive programme. Because of this one-of-a-kind client procedure, each Battista is really unique, since there is almost endless room for customization.

The first American-made Battista, which took over 1,250 hours to build and was the result of the labour of 10 skilled craftsmen, went through no less than fourteen stages of production, painting, and quality control before it was ready for delivery. Battista Anniversario, the second American model to leave the Atelier, required an extra 18 weeks and 1,340 hours to make because of its hand-painted finish and bespoke design components.

The Italian luxury automaker's retail network in the United States has expanded with the addition of Automobili Pininfarina Dallas, the eleventh of its kind in North America.

Located in Dallas, Texas, Automobili Pininfarina Dallas is run by the reputable Avondale Group, which has been selling high-end vehicles in the Lone Star State for over 30 years. Heath Strayhan (pininfarina@avondale.com), who is now the general manager, will be in charge of the new retail partner in Dallas, Texas.
